The story is well written, but for me, the pacing - I understand it's a one shot, but if we are to be in character, that fast of a development all the way to mating and marriage is a bit quick; there wasn't (again for me) sufficient character development or reason to justify moving that quickly. Yes, Kagome doesn't have anyone she wants to live for, fight for, die for, and having that made clear gave her a reason to try travelling with him, but from there to the jump of forever, I would have wanted more explication, more shown between them.

I guess I read it and thought "well written but I don't feel emotionally invested" -- more has to happen between the two to create an emotional investment.

I'm sorry this isn't the standard "this is great" review, but I have always been told that a good review is one that talks about what is good and what might be improved in the reviewer's view.

Dialogue is good, writing skills are there, those are positives, but more is needed to provide the investment in the characters that would warrant actual feeling and caring, for the person reading and for the characters themselves.

I look forward to reading some of your other stories, perhaps a longer story to see the character development where you have more room to do it.

its a cute story but it dosen't work with the anime as in the anime Hojo has a family tree were one of hi ansesters marries a girl named "kagome" it dosn't make since really but you did a good job
