I love your story. It is one of the best fanfics I have read in along time. I suggest that you do a time skip of some kind with the part of Kagome and Sesshoumaru in the future. I feel I gets repeats with their routine, spice it up! I think you need to begin to tie all of the different sections of your story together. It my start to flow better. I also understand your frustration with it. Just come back to it in awhile, like you said you are going to do. If you need any more help let me know.

Ch. 12: This is so far my favorite chapter! You stole my heart with these boys! I don't know. All I can say I wish I was Kagome. Having the boys and Pappa with me. Such contentment, such joy!!!! It reminds me when I was very ill and my son, and my three daughter were lying around and some during the night my husband had his arms around me while me son was between us he is the baby. It was just such a wonderful feeling, and you are a wonderful storyteller! Peace!

Hi! I just spent a decidedly lengthy amount of time... reading this entire story, and thus far i am impressed. The plot drew me in, leading to my recent seclusion... I love how you've been able to develop the relationship without rushing things, and still keep the characters personalities true. Also, Sesshoumaru and Kagome's personalities are developing, a natural event that most authors decidedly ignore. I am thoroughly enthralled and I must congratulate you on a job well done. Good chapter - it seems Kagome will have her brother with her soon, and Rin can only be her sister, interaction between Souta and Rin should be interesting; a sister closer to his age and who might just have lots of time for him.

But -- I want to know more about the whole Kagome's blood beast thing. That as picked up a while ago when she showed evidence of developing a bloodbeast but hasn't been furthered at all in recent chapters.

Her Blood Beast spoke to his - His subdued hers. I want to see more of it, since a blood beast either exists or doesn't; I don't think one would acquire one as a result of youki -- the enhanced hearing and the claws maybe but even that is stretching it.. and her father being who he is.. these are definitely things I want to know more about. ;)

that was a great chapter as always. and I have been having problems with single-spark too, sometimes it will come on, other times it wont come on at all, or it will bring me to a google page. the only thing that I know how to fix it is to type the single-spark website in your broser and see if it comes up. if that doesn't work then look on the google page it brings up sometimes and scroll down to where you see a-single-spark website and click on it. it should work. if not let me know i'll see what else i can do to help you.

I had the same problems with my computer and I've tried everything the only thing you can do is wait until it stops being so stupid I had troubles and then I tried going on the this siteI had to stay off the site for 2 days and now it's just fine.

This is one of my favorite stories on this site and I've read quiet a lot of them, can't wait until the next chapters are loaded!! =) When do you think you will have the next chapters uploaded? when your computer stops being dum? Personally I think that the group should find out about Rin's past soon because technically it will justify the gang's reason for getting rid of Kouga for the sake of Rin's peace of mind. When I first starting reading your fanfic, which was recently, there was 70 chapters. By the first chapter, I was hoooked and couldn't stop...even if I had a ton of homework. But then... I got mad. Why? Because I couldn't read fast enough T.T It's a shame when your a slow reader and you love the story.

I love that you totaly told us, in no direct way, that kagome wont get mated while shes in her time, and that it will take quiet a while for that to happen! This chapter was hilarious, sweet, endearing, and loving. I laughed througthout most of it. Smutty funny regarding the image Miroku gave Sango that she wished she didn't have. Shippo deserves a metal for having to be receptive to Kouga's groping. I just adore more and more the close, loving relationship you give to Sesshoumaru and Kagome. For example in the lingerie store. Sweet and very warm is their love.

I was surprised when they weren't inturupted during kagome's little touch and feely session, lol. I appologise for my last review, i was having an off day and i kind of took everything in a bad way. I even snapped at my little girl once, which i emediatly regreted. I sent you an e-mail on my daughters aol.com e-mail thing, that had my last review and an appologie, and a bit of rambleing...lol
now, this is for chapter 67 (i cant believe how many there are anymore! lol)i was so strung at the end of 66, i was like, wow! its finaly here! sweet! and almost the next day 67 came out! i was like niiiiice! i was worried through out the whole chapter that they would be inturupted by someone, cause they never locked the door!
it also came to my attention earlier when i was reading through a few of the chapters again, something had been bugging me about something, how long did kagome's menstral period last? according to the story,unless kagome is just special that way.....just something that was bothering me a bit...
i was surprised at the end of chapter 67, when you had momoko in it(i keep on getting her name mixed up with mokomoko-sama lol) i wasn't expecting her to be in it, lol
but i love how she was like
"how could he know i was pregnant?!" and how she doesn't know who the father is, she can always find out after the baby is born with a blood test, if she doesn't do an abortion...i wonder if shes ever done hojo? lol just kidding!
also, how you made kagome mad at sesshoumaru, nice one. although, i thought she forgave him too quickly, almost right afterwards too...too quick for me, in the same day she got mad at him (my hubby is still on the couch, he made it worse when he blew off our night out to go shopping with his buddies to get supplies for supper bowl!). Although, because kagome IS a forgiving creature i think i would have done the same thing, even though he pritty much accused her of cheating on him, from my point of view anyways...

the one thing that could be changed to make the story perfect is the sex scenes between sesshomaru and kagome; recently all the new chapters have been mainly devoted to the sex scenes which takes away time that could be focused on inuyasha and everbody else pulling off the prank, as well as naraku coming on the night of the new moon.

I know that you said that it would be a while yet before Kagome and Sesshoumaru completed their sex act. In the mean time, I've nominated them for saint hood in the patience/restraint department. I know me personally would not have lasted as long as she. And no male I've ever known had that much patience. Each time they're together, it's unbelievable! I'm curious to know what he has planned with her mother. That was so touching and sweet of Inuyasha with his handling of Rin's nightmare. It seems his soft side is slowly coming out. Ha ha, go Panthers go! It tickled me the way they handled Naraku. Shinya sounds like she'd be a good match for Inuyasha. They are going to need a miko to determine which of the shards if real.

Hello! Its been awhile huh? Sorry I was on a week vacation from work. I read fics while I'm on break. So, I'm super excited and happy how the story is progressing. I was smiling ear to ear witnessing Hiromi (did I spell her name right?)and Grandpa giving our favorite demon lord such a hard time. Tee Hee. I still can't wait to see just what pranks the pack has in store for Kouga. I'm crossing my fingers for Shippou to transform into Kagome and saying "Oh Kouga your so strong tee hee" while someone probably Yasha does something to embarrass the wolf prince while Miroku is trying his hardest to take the pictures while laughing. I'm curious though will the others distract Kouga's pack or do they have a disctration in place? Also can the pups hide their scent along with hiding the other's so the wolves don't figure out their motives towards Kougha? Oh I can't wait! Hojo the stalker pisses his pants. Ha! No one could possibly be that clueless, could they--and still be sane? As far as reviewer responses go, I tried to access your live journal and it asked if I was 18+, I said yes, but I got no where. I do not have a live journal account and I assume that is what is actually being requested of me. I am not an author so I don't want an account. However, this will not stop me from reading and reviewing your stories.

Now, what is up with this ending! why did you have to put a cliff hanger on this chapter! Five chapters, at the most, you gave us a cliff hanger to wonder what sesshy was going to do to hojo! now you give us another one about the mother's answer! WHY!?!? Why did you have to choose this chapter! why not the last one?
On a more intracit note, i love how fast the chapters are coming, but i must warn you, you may have to make a sequal once you hit chapter 70, because i remember this one story (not the name) that had 80 or so chapters, and when the author went to up-load another chapter it would take a long while for the chapter to appear...maybe you could have it so that the ending of this part or first part (if you even decide to make a sequal) will end with them mating?
then you can re-post or up-load the same chapter as the first chapter of the next sequal to refreash our memories, then continue with your fantastick story! Ya know?
Also, i just watched the movie "Transformers" and i absolutly love Bumble Bee! he is so kool!
And i was thinking that things in your story were getting to mild, and some drama or excitment would be great for our favorite characters! good luck, and hope you have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Great chapter! As far as the lemons go, I think you should go with whatever you feel comfortable with. I personally wouldn't mind a Mir/San thrown in somewhere, but ultimately it's your story to tell. My favorite scene in this chapter: the Miroku induced eyebrow raise LOL gotta love it!

I loved it twas too cute the family scene too cute for words wish there was a really good artist that would draw it. the sesshy boner scene was hilarious and I loved the heartfelt/joking talk between kags and inuyasha. All in all I loved it especially the length lol. And yea I know how you feel when it comes to writing I haven't updated still which is why I haven't asked you to read my story cos if you liked it well then you'd have to wait forever for the next installment. least you update at least once a week I could never dream of doing that and your just in a writers funk right now and the amount your updating doesn't even qualify as writers block,funk or lack of interest or just not wanting to write or whatever one may call it some no worries your updating way well enough . You spoiled all your readers in the beginning and it's not good to spoil anyone too long not to mention we don't want you to be warn out or rushed I'm expecting 100 chappies so do it at your own pace I think that would be a record for one story. How beautiful, sweet, touching, and beyond words was the sleeping description! Loved it. I'm so glad Inuyasha has finally made peace with himself and his inner turmoil. I wonder if you plan for him to find his own mate in the near future? What about Kagura? She's risking her life for them and, of course, for her freedom. I think Naraku is going to eventually find out he's bitten off more than he can chew. Situations are not going to turn out as he thinks them to be. I enjoyed Inuyasha's and Kagome's little talk they had. I wonder if he will be the one to come up with "the word". I'll be on pins and needles until the next update. Oh by the way. I like what your doing with Jaken's character. He's still grumpy and fussy but has a warm heart. That's the kind of Jaken I like to read about in stories. Family tradition states that on Thanksgiving we not only sit around the table and gorge ourselves on too much food, but we also tell each other why we are thankful for each person individually. Since I'm sure you have your own meal to fix/eat I wanted to thank you for taking the time and the hard work to write such a good story. The story has been developed so carefully it is easy to see you have put a lot of energy into it.

I just discovered this absolutely beautiful and entrancing story. I read it straight through non-stop and fell in love with it. Especially those precious pups! I already adore Shippo and Rin. If only I had found this story from the beginning. So many reviews I've missed giving. There is so much going on that I have to keep my wits about me. I'm glad Rin's a miko. Poor thing, she was beginning to feel left out. I agree with Sesshoumaru getting his arm back. Please make it soon. Bless his heart. He finally got the hang of removing Kagome's bra. That was a cute scene. She's "mean" to him. Slowly removing her clothes and bending over just right. In my opinion that proves she's more than ready. He's a saint in my book for being able to hold out this long. Why does he keep thinking she's not ready? The only thing I come up with is him wanting parental permission for their mating. I'm going to get some more grey hairs as long as it's taking him. haha I love what you did with Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. I love it when stories have them come together as brothers and not many do. In this chapter you mention that Sess had only one hand. I thought that in the early chapters you mentioned that Kagome wanted to give him a gift and when he was close enough to the village she did a healing spell with Kaede to replace the arm. He then went to the village to check to see what happened... I thought that was in this story..... O_o ... isn't it?.....

The love scenes between Kagome and Sesshoumaru are wonderful. I can't wait until they finally mate, or when Kagome finally feels comfortable enough to return Sesshoumaru's "affections" by pleasuring him back.

I was going to guess that Rin is either Kagome's fathers' sisters little girl, ya know? cause they look alike, and kagome resembels her father, so many people say, and that sometimes one gene is more prominant than others, than Rin could be Kagome's cousin, and the miko powers could have come from her mother, becouse kagome's father is a priest, and kikyo and keade and kikyo were both priestesses then kagome's father's sister may have miko powers too....right?
And i totaly forgot about the story gramps tried to tell kagome in the second chapter! I feel so...inadequate now! *sniffs* and yeah, i think guys who aren't afraid of pink are cool, and hot, espesially when my hubby's wearing it! Could Rin by Kagome's grandmother? Her dad's mother? That kinda puts things out of order. I mean her dad is from the past so maybe he went further into the past to protect whatever he is protecting. Well, I'm not sure if either is what you were talking about or not, but it was confirmed that the Misaki that Gramps was talking about back in Chapter 2 was in fact Sesshoumaru's Mother.

Also, hints were given regarding Rin's true identity which, with a well that allows time travel could mean she's anything from Kagome's ancestor to her daughter. Maybe even Midoriko's reincarnation who is also Kagome's ancestor...if there was more than I have to admit I missed it.

Well your not so little fanfiction caused me to break my rule of "no more incomplete stories" that I made after too much wait time and authors abandoning their stories too often, but I have to say I am very glad that I did because I am really enjoying the story so far. Not only do you update at a good pace (excluding sickness and holidays *get well soon and have a good turkey day*) but you also have a pretty unique view on the journey of the romantic relationship between Sessy and Kags. Too many stories just jump out with the screaming of I Love you's and screaming of orgasams until you are completly sure that the Kags in this fanfiction could not have possibly been a virgin to give it up that fast (okay so I guess one must consider this is Sessy we are talking about but still...). Your progression of lemons is very like a real person's sexual progress and that is something that I enjoy reading. Plus you have got me totally pumped to read the moment that Kags finally admits her feelings to Sessy (great foreplay you have going there with the love talk) and I can just bet you wont disapoint.

Yes there was a reason, cause if there was that'd be really cool, cause today's my BirthDay! Although it is quiet depressing, cause im one year closer to be old! lol, just kidding! There is something magical about the intimacy between Sesshomaru and Kagome. I don't know if I've said this before, but how you treat them coming together (Literally and symbolically and in terms of plot,) is entirely artful and pure pleasure to read. I feel like I'm looking at a sculpture of lovers entwined as I read and reread the last part of chapter 49... Such pretty pictures and emotions sculpted from words... There's a fluidity, a grace of motion in your descriptions and the rhythm of your story telling that is entirely artful.
Also, get well soon, my dear. It is no fun being sick and, suffering from bronchial infections and respiratory conditions from the first few months of my life until today, I know what a "little cold" can turn into for those of us with weak lungs. i have just read all 48 chapters at one go and yes it kept my attention for nearly 5 hours (i'm a very fast reader) and i can't wait to read your succeeding chapters.
as for ants - my solution is chili flakes!!!
i get a bucket of water and steep chili flakes in it for about 24 hours. Then i pour the water (with the flakes) into the ant hills if u can find them. if not on the trails and do it for a while. u will notice your ants decreasing as the flakes build up and they abandon the nests. it worked for me and kept my house relatively ant free for a couple of years though i think u do have to do it periodically to make sure the flakes are there in the soil. try it and let me know if it works for u as well. yes, i have an insect phobia as well though mine is cockroaches absolutely yuck - i run screaming from a room though spiders, earwigs and ants also top my list of unliked and unwanted visitors.
i like your take on sesshy's probs with full youkai heirs and this covers it nicely as there would be a problem if kags couldn't have full blooded heirs though from the story line this doesn't and won't appear to be a problem.
pls continue your story. i love your characterisations and though sesshy might seem a bit ooc, the anime doesn't really show a 3-d pic of him - just a one sided one and u have written a very (to me anyway) believable sesshy and his 'happiness' with his kags.

This was an excellent chapter. I would go for the subjugating word of 'Heel' or 'Stand down' or 'Back off'. I think these commands would be less degrading given Sess' status than a menial command such as 'sit boy' for Yasha.

I've always had a hard time liking fanfics where Rin calls Sesshoumaru her father. I think it would be a silent agreement from him to take care of her like a parent, but I don't think he'd ever admit to having any kind of bonds to her. However, you do seem to have written a more mature Sesshoumaru than the one in the anime and manga, and I think it kind of fits this story. He's a family man now. XD
Oh and the bonding between Sango and Kirara was a genious way of getting Sango and Miroku together. :)
I think I agree on Sakimitama being a long word. Then all that remains would be dog commands, and maybe they fit the best? There's 'heel', 'down boy!' or perhaps 'roll over'. Hmm, roll over would be a little too demeaning. Down boy could be good if it only reacts to the two words spoken together.
Or it could be the same word as the Inuyasha parodies; spaghetti! XD

I've been know to be very fierce when it comes to those I hold close to me. Even as a kid I was that was. I think that's why I have so many friends. Those that have seen that side of me know I stay loyal as long as they do to me. I saved my best friend from being attacked by 2 giant rottweilers before. These guys were on the loose at night while we were walking. They avoided me but started after her. I placed myself in front of her and demanded that they leave. They listened to me. Took off down the street. They were easily over 3 feet. I think that's one of the reasons I'm now Godmother to her son. XD Casper is such a cutie too. He got his wish to come down here to the beach on his birthday to see me. He's only 4. :x And yeah, I hate it when parents let their kids run wild with out a care. I've worked in a mall and a Babies r Us. It just amazes me that they let them do the worst of things and don't care a lick. And then they wonder why their children won't listen to them. I'm rambling. I knew that at some point Rin and Shippo would start calling him Papa, but it still made me "Aww". If I could make a suggestion, I think the word should be associated with dogs as well. Possibly something like "Heel". However, the command "Down" would be fun to get both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru; "Sit Down!" followed by both eating dirt. Thanks for the chapters. Keep up the good work. Also, sorry about the ants.

Yes I loved the end of this chapter!! Its was so sweet! I can only imagine what will happen to Sesshoumaru when Kagome says "the word". I hope it's really funny, like he trips or something, ya know? He is so graceful that seeing him clumsy would be the perfect punishment, but whatever you have planned is good, too. Two finals down two to go. Last two tomorrow yay. Ok this chapter was funny espically when kagome explained everything to everyone and Sesshoumaru telling her that he wants to be subjacated or controlled rather. The declaration that sesshoumaru made about seving her was so heartwarmng. I am looking foward to the lime tomorrow. chapter and a half yay. I am so happy, will need the chappie to help me relax. Oh i wanted to ask you, did you ever have 200 questions for final to finish in two hours which was an accumulation of all you learned in 10 weeks? my peeve was 200 questions and then another 100 for a test right after.

Aww man your family sounds just as dysfunctional as mine. I had a awful day yesterday I had to be in the middle of my crazy mother and my brother they tend to sometimes get violent with each other and I ran down stairs knowing it was about to get to that point and put myself in the middle with both of them screaming at each other it made me cry I hate when they fight like that so the only thing that stopped it was me and I hate being near violence either yelling or physical fighting. but at least we both have ppl to turn to I have my brother which is why I didn't want him hauled away in handcuffs and my grandma and aunt who care for the illegitimate-mistake child that is me (says my mother) out of a family that stretches from Florida to California! Not to mention I know not of my fathers family I only met him like 5 times in my life of 19 years. but I'm glad you could talk to me about it, I need someone to talk too about fam issues and stuff besides my wall! I think I should be locked up with padded walls lol But this chappie was great Kagome is the mother I'll be someday for sure at least the personality you gave her that'll be me for sure which is why I relate to your story so well. I love that stupid naraku going to be pissed when inuyasha gets all bad-ass demon on him lol and the kiss ahhh the kiss short but really hott! hehe loved Izayoi hmmm what else oh and can't help but wonder what Yuudai and Isamu's punishment will be? I wish I could help with the command for sesshy's necklace but I can't think of one that isn't a dog command cos I agree sess shouldn't get a dog command he's too regal and controlling of himself anyway so I'm at a lost. I have an idea for the word on Sesshoumaru's subjugation beads. It has to be a word that isn't commonly used in Kagome's vocabulary, as she doesn't want to subjugate him by mistake. I was thinking that why not choose "sakimitama"? It's not something you say every day, and since he IS her sakimitama, it fits him. And imagine what will happen when they are talking about the prophecy. XD I might be evil, but I think it's a good choice. *nods*
As for the chapter. Really cute! I'm impressed that Kagome knew how to remove that miko's holy powers, but her instincts leads her, just like with Mistress Centipede, how she threw her off of her.

As far as the command goes, I think it kind of depends on what you want the beads to do to him when she says the word. Like, will it slam him to the ground, give him a shock, freeze him in place, erect a barrier, etc. It might be easier to come up with the word or phrase you want to use after you decide this. You might also consider making the word or phrase something that she wouldn't say regularly, well...unless you want some comedic effect like with Inuyasha's subjugation, lol. Happy writing! :o)

Well, i like how you made her all rightous, and stuff, and i like how you had the other miko all evil, and then a sniveling mass of guu(sp)! I was thinking that his mark may be too...um...'complicated? like sesshy's doesn't have nearly that much stuff....but, oh well, i like how inu can control his demon half and protect himself during the new moon now! and i was thinking that the word 'Heal' or 'Down' would work, but im leaning towards 'Heal more cause with that one he'd just freeze in place and not do an...'humiliating' face/body plant like inu, ya know? lol, and i feel bad about what happened in your shed, i've saved every single yearbook i've had, and my childeren love looking at them, so i fell bad about what happened to yours, and about what happened to the other books. As for the word of the beads. You don't want something like sit that she can accidentily say and send sess to the floor. How about a pet name that she only uses when she is angry at him or wanting to embarass him. Such as Fido or Honey Bear.

A couple things for this review:one: the command for Sesshoumaru (1) Heel, (2)Dont or somethng to that effect so he knowswhere to draw the line but nothing like Inuyasha we have to keep it dignifed and maybe a little unnoticable.

The next thng i manged to tedo the research paper and hand it in to the teacher of course i showed up ten minutes late but it was worth it.
I dont like parties either. My idea of fun ia reading fanfiction and romance novels, and listenign to country music and my homeland music.About the ap and the other thing dont have it in what i was good with and my grades have alvays been A and B average with a GPA of above 3.0 and i am still amaintaing a great GPA and grades and english is my second language too.
About your books, THat sucks because i love reading books with the exception of mystry and horror classic or no.
Now to this chapter: THat was great, Inuyasha marking Kagome adn the blush when sesshoumaru was kissing Kagome in the cave. Nw the pups i love them!!! anyway hopefully you can deal with the ants and larvae easily enough, we had wasps under our steps this summer and when we caulked up the holes they ate their way through, so we still have wasps. *crosses fingers waiting for the frosts to come*

Well no one ever said sunshine and daisies make a good story, i am glad that this one is not one taht is all happy and wonderful. Yeah i like trying to figure out what how things are going to end and then i come up with about a thousand "what if's" pertaining the ending so they... sorry if what i say is nothing like the way it is actually going to go.

Wow, that was like so touching between the three of them. It was really sweet!! And Yes I liked this chapter. But let me get this straight:did Kagome come back because Sesshoumaru cried for her or because he placed the shard on her heart?

You didn't warn us that we would need a kleenex for that chapter. I can't wait to see how strong Kag gets with the shards. Nice twist. My suggestion on the new ideas, write them down and come back after this story is done. It could get real bad. Other authors have tried to do it and all stories seem to get lost. I absolutely love it! I read the whole thing in 1 sitting, I actually forgot to stop and eat lunch. The character development is true to the situation. An even plot development, Shessy and Kagome not making like rabbits in the first 2 chapters. I can't wait unitl the next chapter.
On a side note; I read ypur A.N. about the mom at the Halloween event leaving her kid in the stroller. A couple years ago I took my niece to see the Spider-man release on opening day. The lines were forever long, and my niece struck up a conversation with the little boy next to her. Within 10 minutes the boys mother asks me to watch her 2 kids (the boy and a baby in a carrier) while she ran to the bathroom. I was half thinking she was kidding. Then I turned around and she was gone. She comes back 15 minutes later with popcorn. Some people treat their children like cheap accessories. But back to the review. FANTASTIC!!!!

The chapter was wonderful, though. This one and the one previous. There's one part of the previous chapter where Kagome notes that Sesshomaru is crying for her. It made my heart did summersaults. The simplicity of stating such a complex and overwhelming fact, that Sesshomaru, strong, powerful, singular Sesshomaru, was crying over his beloved shuddered me deep down in my belly, causing me to hold my breath a moment for the sherely beautiful picture I had in my mind. You couldn't have painted a more beautiful picture had you used sixty words instead of the few you used and, in my opinion, the simplicity is what made the statement so effective at affecting your readers. Especially me.

i almost forgot, there is a story on fanfiction.net, called 'without a doubt'. it's packed with instincts, pack 'rules' with a huge kick of hormonal taiyoukai attitude. it's by XxemzyxX. at first the story dose progress a little fast, but it slows down as it progresses farther. It's really good. take it from a experienced fanfic reader, that's very picky about quality, and quantity. i have very strict qualifications, when it comes to finding a fanfic to read... it's getting to the point where i can't find anything good anymore, cause i've read it all already... so tiring...*sighs*

Awesome chapters as always. Just returned from Nekocon. Very long weekend. They had me staff the dealers room the whole time. All I can say is ow. Concrete hurts to stand on that long. Kouga's temporary Alpha pick--what a hoot! Perhaps Kouga didn't select as well as he thought. Considering what happened in the last chapter, I think Kouga doesn't stand a chance in hell of being Kagome's mate (poor guy). I've always liked his character. I know he is not as powerful as the other males, but he is genuinely affectionate and he really cares about his pack. I think initially he kidnapped Kagome because she could see the shards, but I think he fell in love with her soon after. I think he Kouga has been waiting for Kagome to get over Inuyasha. I also think that, as a demon, he does not understand the nuances of human behavior. Kagome's polite rebuffs may mean something else in demon society.

I know just how you feel, with your ankle. My mother broke her foot when she stepped on broken pavement about two years ago, and walked on it for two weeks before getting it checked because she didnt know it was broken, only that it hurt. It still pains her now, a lot.

Heh, also, about three weeks back while crossing a street from one building of my school to another, I tripped, my stuff went one way with most of me, and my toe deciding to go the opposite direction (darn platforms hold your toes in weird!). Now, when I wear sandals, I can still walk for miles, but if I'm in sneakers I can barely stand!

Eh, sorry to babble on like that, I started out just sympathizing with you for the pain in your ankle. Try keeping it wrapped in ice at night, it should help some... In case you're not already doing so.

you most likely don't know but i have read every chapter so far, and you would probably think i am crazy if you saw what i do every day when i come home from school. but never mind that. i think your story is magnificent. finally a story with all the aspects of an near actual dog's instincts. the only thing that's different about the demons in this story and actual dogs is the fact that once dogs mate, the male leaves the female. if the female has pups, then the male will provide for her. that's the only difference, other than the fact that Sesshoumaru can actually think logicly, unlike a dog, which relies on instincts... but i think you already know this... so, i guess i'll shut up now! ^.^ later!

Very romantic and very nicely done. Far too many Kagome/Sesshomaru lemons consist of no correct chracterizations, no relationship buidling just blind sex described in increasingly bizarre terms. You avoided that here, so bravo for you!

U know .. what you said about some parents not really looking up to their children is so true it hurts... check in the web (if you haven't heard about yet) the story of Madeleine Mccann. It happened here in Portugal in the summer... parents where spending their vacations in Algarve, and every night they would leave their children (2 twins of 2yrs and madeleine of 3yrs) alone and went have dinner in the hotel restaurant... 1 night when they got back she wasn't there! .... All preoccupied now they called the police and reported the missing child..... now this story is a most controversial 1.... 1st- They had some kind of excuse that British parents are more "liberal"... And I said.. "WTH! Who leaves, in their right mind, such young children alone in a house! Every Night!" - The Portuguese judge accused her of negligence...well done if I say so ; 2nd- Who would kidnap ONLY madelain... and not take the twins?? They wanted to accuse kidnapping for child Trafficking or sexual exploration... but HEY!..3 children are always better than 1... ; 3rd- After some time, in wich they called many argues, 1 of them their neighbours, they found blood traces in the apartment and later in the their rented car.... old blood they said..the samples were sent to a british lab, cause they said ours was... less prestiged, per se, they took the triple of the time they were supposed and besides giving a OK in matching madelein blood with the samples, little more was added to this equation... Maccans were made arguidos by that time... in witch they, after so much pub and portuguese 3, ditched us for their ppl... why? They were afraid ... I still think they killed poor Madelain... because of an accident or other I don't know... but if you have been following this story you'll see some facts that just don't add up... Everything was going so well and now Kagome is acting pissy. If Sesshoumaru's youki is responsible for her acute hearing, Kagome needs to remember that she asked/agree to it in order to send visions to Inuyasha. So there are side effects. She is the alpha female--take some responsibility woman as you participated in the decision.

Hmm...this story being one of my favourites is getting more and more interesting and exciting. Well written except a minor grammar error ot two for example, when you mentioned, I believe, in the last chapter that Akihiro and Yoshi were speaking with each other and Akihiro shook is head in agreement with Yoshi, it should be that he nodded in ageement. I notice this error in a lot of other stories I've read. When one shakes his head it means that person disagrees with the subject and when one nods their head it means they agree with the subject.

I look forward to more installments of this wonderful story soon.

I have to admit that I'm in love with your story. It is really moving and wonderful, but what makes me most surprised is how often you make me laugh. And it isn't that you're trying to be overly silly, it's just that your descriptions are so fluid and, through your skill in depicting characters, I am actually able to see the scenes as they play out. I can envision the story occuring and that, my dear, is a rare and beautiful gift.
I have to admit that I was a little surprised at the alternate universe take on Sesshomaru's mother and father, but I love it, really. It makes his responses more believable and the horribly broken relationship between him and Inuyasha understandable. There's so much about Sesshomaru that you never see. It's never indulged. If he were a real person, he'd be one of the ones you had to observe for a long time in order to read and really understand. His words, while revealing, are only half of what he really means. Everything else is held in his stance, eyes and actions or gestures. I've had friends who are like that. Once I became adept at reading them, they opened up completely and I was granted insight into who they really were. It's about trust and so it delights me that you have captured that kind of personality for Sesshomaru. He trusts Kagome enough to let himself relax and show his emotions and he loves her, which is an inevitable reaction for that personality type once they learn to trust another individual as he has learned to trust Kagome.
Also, really adoring the children in this piece. I love that each of the children are rounded characters. I can tell how long you must have sat and thought about each child and their characters and how they would interact and exactly how that would look. I also love that each one of them have taken on a different aspect of Sesshomaru's personality, even the hidden ones. They are their father's sons. Also, Shippo and Rin are beautifully written too.
Now, for my puppy-boy. I adore Inuyasha and I am so pleased with the way you are writing him. Yes, he's an obnoxious asshole, but he's a loveable and protective obnoxious asshome who, in my opinion, deserves some happiness... So, if I could make one tiny request? I know I haven't been posting reviews for this story as long (I only really started reading it... Oh... Three days ago? It takes me a few days to really think out a review before I post it, so I read the whole thing in a day and the chapters you have sinced posted and now, once I have gotten a handle on my thoughts, decided to post this rather long review.) but I really would be happy if Inuyasha found some sort of happiness. It seems apt to me, especially in how you have set up the story, that in order for Kagome to be complete, her heart has to be complete... Which means her courage, Inuyasha, has to be complete and balanced and have some sort of happiness as well. It is both my desire as well as an interesting plot point. Kagome cannot defeat Naraku unless all parts of herself are balanced and at peace. (So says the Literature Master's degree in me. It would be a beautiful arch for the story, but you don't have to listen to me. I'm only a reader. A happy, giddily awaiting the next chapter, reader who will be enchanted with whatever you write.)
In any case, I wanted to conclude by thanking you for this wonderful story. As I said, you have made me laugh and glow giddily with the beauty and structure of your story as well as the meticulous care you show for the characters. I look forward to much more in the near future.

I've read plenty of storys where Inu Tashio was like that to Sesshomaru, or his mother being that way, it's really the only way to explain the stoicness and still be somewhat feasable in my oppinion.

Sorry about not reviewing last chapter! I've just been soo bus! its my youngest daughters' first Halloween! She actually crawled into a pumkin i was working on, and i have come to very startiling realization. My youngest daughter is the exact oppisite of me and just like her father. She loves horror movies even though shes not even two! She just turned one last week! I woke up and found him asleep, and her out of her room, "somehow" she got out of her little sleeping thingy and into his lape while watching "Sings", and i am deathly afraid of that movie! she was giggleing when the girl came out of the well! *shudders* at least i know why she was born in october!
Anyways! lol, i dont mind how sesshy's dad is portrayed. I understand exactly why he is like the way he is in your story. He probably only got with sesshy's mom for an hier, and never really felt anything for her. Sad huh? Well, thats what i think anyways. Also, Inu's going to be returning in a few chapters after this right? i just have this feeling....and was the reason why kags couldn't feel the demon because of Naraku? it would make sense that he could mask the jewels presance somehow....

I must say that your story has all of the ingrediants to make a wonderful Desert! It has Mystery, some Adventure, Susspence, Plot, Limes and Maybe some Lemons? Hmm? And it has the intrigue, the power to make us, or at least me, wonder what her reactions will be, how she will react to things, and about the rest of the story of her father and mother. And, in your story, Kagome acts more realisticly than in others, where she just a doll! This is truly a great story, and I am sorry i have not Reviewed before, but i have only just started reading it, and wow! I really like Kazue though, except maybe you could make her more...playful? and have Kags actually talk to her more often? It's like Kazue is there only for protection, like a shield, but she IS real, ya know? lol, i just thought that it might be cool if you had her more active...and how do you plan on sesshy and Kags to share Sesshy's view on Inu and his mom? i hope you aren't planning on haveing Inu and Sesshy kissing. Now that scean with Kags and Sesshy kissing was nice and short, but maybe the next could be a tad more passionate?

Hey I love that Kirara and Sango will be able to talk. Poor Inuyasha and Miroku. They are the only ones not being able to talk to someone in their head. They are going to be so mad when everyone is setting around the fire and Kag and Sess keep giving each other looks or giggles. Then you have sango and kirara doing things for each other and not saying a word. Those boys are really going to wonder or not never said they were the brightest bulbs. Thank you for adding my idea about Jaken. I laughed really hard when they met. If I was Kagome everytime Sesshomaru made her mad she should put that image or different ones in his head. That could get him. Is Rin going to have problems when Kouga and the wolves show up? I was not sure if in the manga or show if she has had any contact with wolves. I only get to watch every know and then. Great chapter and I will try to catch all of your updates.

I'm sorry you are having such a rough day. The chapter was wonderful. Inuyasha being petulant and Sesshoumaru being an opportunist was the perfect scene. Sesshoumaru and Kagome are becoming more flirtatious around each other. It makes me smile.

I'm not one who reviews often, but after 32 chapters, I finally had the urge to review and let you know just how much I've enjoyed this story. Yes, I know that you probably get that a lot, and I'm not exactly a creative genius in writing how much I like a story, but I've been reading fanfics for several years and you've used elements in your story that are either quite unique or with a twist that makes it different than the others. And in a fandom where many of the fics are starting to sound more and more alike to me, this has been a welcome change. So keep up the good work and don't let a bad day get you down. :) It'll be better tomorrow, and your readers will still be there. :)

That was low of Inuyasha to use Kagome as a ploy to use against Sesshoumaru in the fight. It's a good thing he lost as he would not make a good alpha. A good street fighter or thug, yes.

I really love your story! Sessoumaru's kids are just too precious. You have me intrigued with the alpha battle as well...I can just see Naraku taking advantage of Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha being weakened, as this battle will no doubt leave them, and attacking. Sorry, I like to see Kagome save the day, and having her, the newly acknowledged alpha female have to protect the pack when the alpha and beta males are too weak to do so gave me a nice chuckle.

XD No problem. Check them out at your own pace. My husband learn Japanese the hard way. Many classes. But I learned to pick up words and phrases from watching anime subs. I remember when the only way to watch subbed anime was on VHS tapes. And most of those were done by fans. XD Man I feel old now. ;o; But anyway. I liked this chapter. It had a round robin feel when dealing with the scrolls and giving information. Nice little touch. :D More and more I find myself bouncing in my chair wondering what will happen next. You actually have this story at a great pace. If it went too fast you would lose some stuff from it. I think it's why I enjoy your story so much. As for conventions, I go with my husband. He's as much of a nut as I am. XD We have so much stuff in our house dealing with anime that we could open an anime cafe. I think it will be quite awhile before we feel too old for it. Though not everything deals with anime. We have tons of games, books, and music too. My husband went over there for 6 months as an exchange student in college. He loved being there. We even went there to Japan for our honeymoon! I'll definitely let you know about the mini Sess. Once upon a time way back in the days of high school and college I use to be able to draw. Drawing classes though suck the creativity right out of you. ;o; That and it's been about 15 years since I've tried. XD And I would love to see what Calix draws up for you! I bug my artist friends all the time to show me their stuff. Even if it's just doodles it amazes me. A lot of them are on Deviant Art. If you want to see their stuff let me know. I love the pace you have this story going. It just makes you constantly want more. XD And I may check for a mini Sess when I go to Nekocon. It's one of the few conventions I still go to since they have me working it. OMG the things Kouga said, and Kagome heard them. Although Kouga got his butt kicked it still doesn't sound like he is completely convinced that Kagome won't be his. The scene between Sesshoumaru's beast and Kagome was well described and emphasized how misunderstandings can happen due to the difference in language and species.

Your spelling/grammar are most excellent. I find my only problem to be your characterizations. I haven't yet read far enough into it to experience the plot, so I cannot comment about that.

Anywho, about your characterizations. Cliche'd. Simple as that. Although you follow their behaviors as seen on TV, you need to develop the chaaracter's own personalities and beliefs more.

Though, I just realized that this story has quite a few chapters on it. Perhaps I am judging too soon?

Ah, Miroku's a great character. He saves the pack's butt more than Inuyasha. He is intelligent, wise, diplomatic and brave. I think Sango hits him too much. It's great to see Shippo begin to be accepted into Sesshoumaru's family unit.

That chapter made me feel all squishy inside at the end. :x *bounces around* Can't wait for the next chapter!

The cutting off of the link when Kagome travels through time makes sense. After all the effort for all of them to create the links in the first place, how distressing to feel the link severed without warning. The howling and running off to the well seemed just the right touch for those in panic mode.

I was thinking of the Kagome, Kagome game and how it could be used as a training exercise for the pups. Once they learn to mask their scents and aura this would be a way for them to learn how to just use their ears and memories in a safe situation. Because if they are caught in a cloud of miasma or something they can't trust their nose to lead them right if there is an enemy near, vision isn't very clear so you would have to rely on your ears to keep you safe. Anyway enough of my rambling I love your story and i hope you update soon.

"friend." The scene where Sesshoumaru and all his pups end up in the Lady of the West's bedroom to sleep with Kagome's lingering scent was precious.

Poor Kouga. Kagome's thinking about how she is going to spare Inuyasha's feelings by concealing the truth makes me think that she is a woman willing to be in an abusive relationship. All Inuyasha does is verbally abuse her. Why should she withhold the truth of her whereabouts? She need not reveal all details as some things are private. Where is her backbone when she needs it?

Kagome was so cute, she thought she must be dreaming or dead! When she realizes that she is not, it is obvious she also realizes her scent was of an aroused female. Very amusing. Sesshoumaru seems to be putting forth the charm and oozing with sex appeal. All the while his children are plotting to keep Kagome as their mother. It will be interesting to see if Sesshoumaru is able to also mark her in some way as pack before she goes.

I feel silly now I just reread the description.
My mind is a little off I'm trying to draw the image of an elusive character for my own work.
I was wondering though why the moon cycle was repeated twice although I must admit the aesthetics of the artifact (if I can actually get the color the look silver) will be quite stunning.

A question about the viewing device is it two cycles of the moon. It seems like two cycles in your description but I'm slightly confused about that. If it is the detail work on that pic is going to be fun. Also I feel bad cause I want to draw the scene of kagome on the bed surrounded by the puppies and Sessh and it's pulling my interest away from drawing the other device. Also do the puppies look like a smaller Sesshoumaru in dog form or are they slightly different depending on their mothers?

I just discovered and read your story today and it takes some interesting turns. For one, you had Sesshoumaru kill off Kikyou--and there was great rejoicing!!!, two: Sesshoumaru having pups by 3 different "bitches" and then killing off said bitches because they were vicious, three: Kagome not only saves demon lives but transfers some of her powers in the process, and lastly: those saved return the favor and transfer some of their power to or mark Kagome. All in all, a very engaging story.

The fic is absolutely wonderful! More puppies, please.

I don't find that Sess being somewhat out of character effects the story. We all struggle with ourseleves and how people see us. He is no different. I look forward to reading how this story unfolds.
