Awww. Even though this is not something I would usually go for, I really like it. The family motiff is strong and I'm glad you've carried it through. I'm excited to see the reactions of the people in their lives as they find out about this relationship. I hope for a return of the awful woman from Kagome's old section.
One thing that really really got to me was spelling mistakes. The largest one by far is "staid" which actually means "serrious, grave, etc." In the instances in which you are using it you want the pass tense of "stay" which is spelling "stayed". Little things like that which spellchecker doesn't catch can be a bit distracting. Having a good beta look over everything would help.
Aside from that, I can see you're really using this story to grow as a writter and I'm looking forward to more.

I can see why this is the fic that everyone likes the most, it really well thought out and the grammar is on spot every scene ties in well there is no disparity in the personalities that you've given each charater and the story is developing well (if a little fast, but that's cool) I'll be looking for the reat of these cahpters.

I think you have done a splendid job and moved the story arch on well and yes, though Sesshoumaru is moderately OOC, it still flows. Equally am well pleased that you allowed Kagome to be a full sexual being. Nicely done.

Awwww. Sesshoumaru's such a sweetheart! And hey, no worries about the OOCness, first of all it was not that OOC, and let's face it, most of us like Sess' occasional OOCness. His usual rock-like demeanour is...ummm...LOL.

It is hard to find a good fan-fic in the world amongst the copy-cat plots and writers who should find better things to do with their time (as I'm sure you've noticed), but you have made a really worth-while story. YAY! I like this. Modern without too many shocks, and she gets to have Shippo with her! I also love the fact that she is respected for her protectiveness by those who are worthy of being respected in turn. Fierce protection of family and friends has always been a trait I admire.

So far so very good. I always like when someone takes the time to set up a fiction properly and brings some level of inventiveness. No one needs to read the same settings over and over again. it is nice to have a twist with the familiar. This is a very good start....it will be interesting to see how you unravel the story of his presence. I have faith you will do a fine job! Keep writing! We will read.
