Great story! Kagome and Rin need to have heart to heart talk about what's happening and what it means to her to have another child enter the family. Also Sesshoumaru although not used to having explain himself needs to talk to Rin as well considering that she thinks of him as a father.

Isn't Sesshoumaru a poison master? Why would Naraku's miasma affect him? Inuyasha as well, it never has before... I thought this was suppose to be funny...it's not.

Heck, you could possibly even have Shippo try and explain the situation to Rin.
Just some ideas.

Why don't you try having a heart-to-heart between Kagome and Rin in the next chapter? There is a great source of confict/dynamics that remain un-tapped between these two complex characters.

I love this fic so much!! I started reading it a while ago and had given up hope on it being continued, it took so long for an update!! I was so excited today when I logged on and saw that it had a new chapter. I hope that you keep it up and update soon. As for the challenge......I dont know....thats a hard one....Maybe something with sesshomarus mother (forgot her name..) where she conives a way to get at kagome through some court tradition or rule or whatever, kind of like she did to Izayoi and sesshomaru gets stuck in the middle and has to either go against his mother and the court, or denounce kagome......I dont know, anyway....hope to read an update soon!!!!! Please, when are you going to update! I love this story and have followed it from almost the beginning. My previous reviews were on FFN I think or they could be on your site. Which is where I discovered this enchanting story. I like ASS because stories don't get edited due to content. I hope Haru does not end up doing something completely bad. He is a mystifying character. He hides a lot of his true personality. I still want to like him even though I don't know if he's completely trustworthy. I sure as heck don't trust Sesshoumaru's mother. I want Kagome protected from her at all times. Another one I think to watch is Rin. You are doing something unique with her. In no other story I've read (that's plenty) has she been jealous and resentful toward Kagome. His mother may take advantage of that by using her to get close to Kagome since Sesshoumaru has no reason to distrust Rin. If she does, hopefully Rin will get wise to her by truly liking Kagome once she gets to know her. I sometimes let my imagination run away with me, especially if I'm really into a story. One very important thing. Where's his other arm? Are you going to give it back to him? He got it back in the manga while at home with his mother. I was hoping he'd have it back by the time he and Kagome were together the first time. I know Kagome is hormonal due to the "treatment", but she needs to learn to not be so jealous. That can lead to big problems in a relationship. Of course, that's my personal opinion since jealousy has always been a big turn-off for me. I'm not a young teenager so I speak from experience. Anyway - main item - UPDATE!

Wow, very nice chapter. I don't really like Haru..it seems he's a fun, sorta sexy type demon...but he seems to have a rather dark side and I'm not sure I like it. He's a very good character, though. Haru seems to be more and more on the dark side. At first I thought he was jealous Sesshoumaru was with Kagome. However I now think that Haru wants Sesshoumaru for himself and Kagome, although initially interesting, is in his way. I know Haru supposedly wants to rule the Western Lands so Sesshoumaru must die. That leaves Haru in complete ambiguity with his feelings towards Sesshoumaru. He loves him. He hates him. He loves to hate him. He hates that he loves him. Despite the central story theme of Kagome promising to give birth to Sesshoumaru's heir, the saga of Haru is looming a close second. I find all of this very interesting, but I would like to see more interaction between Kagome and Sesshoumaru. For the expected intimacy coming up, the amount of time they have spent together having a private conversation or just being physically near each other seems small.

I've truly enjoyed the update and have got to say that no matter what I will stay faithfully watching for any new postings. I first started reading this on AFF and found that I really liked your character, Haru. I can't tell you how he's made me laugh when he gets around his brothers. He and Miroku together??? I agree with Miroku, walk away...quickly. Haru doesn't care who he propositions. But I hope he's not a bad guy. I mean I can understand him being jealous of Sesshoumaru and all but I hope an inner struggle with himself will stop him from causing any trouble. Sesshoumaru's mother on the other hand needs to be put in her place and I'd like to see Kagome have something to do with that. I like it when Kagome kicks butt. You're doing a great job and congradulations on the awards for this fic. JEN

This story is so good that you should not be surprised at the nominations much less the awards. You most certainly have earned them and congratulations. So you celebrated by giving us a naked Sesshomaru, (Ican't help it, that's how I like him best.)

His mother is a piece of work and needs to be severely punished. I'm just hoping that Kagome survives long enough for him to achieve this.

Inuyasha was great. He got Kagome to safety, waited til Sesshomaru got there and they left to help Kikiyo. He cares and I love him for that. Even Sesshomaru didn't begrudge him to go look for her. Besides if she hadn't got shot, Sesshomaru wouldn't have had to get naked to save her, right?

I hope in my heart that Haru has a change in his heart, even though he did hit on Miroku. Haru is a most wonderful creation and you have yourself to thank.

I know you have a busy schedule, so while I love to get your updates, I can wait patiently, on the edge of my seat, and hope that you get inspired, can't help or control yourself and write some more.

I guess Kagome has completed the pre-impregnation process and is now ripe for youkai picking. What a time to be, I am assuming again, kidnapped. This senario fits canon beautifully. I am really enjoying this story.

K, I see that you have been asking all along for reviewers to mention anything...weird, they see. Firstly, where is Chapter 1? What is posted in the first chapter is actually chapter 6. LOL, perhaps (like me) you tried to 'replace' chapter six and accidentally replaced chapter 1 with it.

Second thing - In 'Now for Something Different II', you say Sesshomaru kicks Izayoi out, and allows her to take Inuyasha with her (at her request), but in an earlier chapter of the story it was explained the Inuyasha chose to leave (with his mom)...just a bit conflicting.

Besides all that, I want to say...I REALLY like this story! I hope you keep working on it, because I cant wait to read more! Good job :)

NOW...I sorta wonder about Haru. Not to mention Naraku, I am going to assume that was him, though I'm not completely certain. I'll go back and reread it to see if I missed something.

Having Sesshomaru's father as the 'founder' of tough love is completely reliable. I mean, the guy did leave his son a cast off sword just to teach him a lesson.

I usually have a hard time with reading about youkai courts. Mainly, its due to the fact that with the disdain most youkai feel for humans, to emulate their royalty it feels a bit wrong.

With how you've portrayed it, however, it fits and lends credence to the plot.

Well, I'm off to the shadows and lay in wait for the next installment. Good luck on the IYFG..you had my vote.

I really enjoy this story. It has changed quite a bit from the initial situation of mistaken contract to bear a child, to 4 hot guys after poor Kagome. I truly enjoy the "touchy-feely" thing going on with Sess and Kagome. I hope Jakken finds a way to nullify Koga's claim.

I like that Haru is reading Kag's books. Nice twist to have him interested in her mind, and not just her body.
Sess needs to get into her head to see what makes her tick. I mean, his contract has her bearing him a child and raising it. He would want to know about her intelligence, morals, values, beliefs, because the Mother is the child's first and best teacher.
