I love this story. It only took me two days to read once I found this story, but now I can't wait for the next chapter.

You have no idea how many times I have read this story. I am a believer in the idea of orginality in fictions. Too many people use the basic Kagome sees Inu/Kik action and runs off and is found by Sesshomaru, where as she falls. XP Boring and overused, considering all the openings presented in the series aside from that. I don't think it takes a fox demon like myself to find nitches like that.

Your story on the other hand is very original in it's beginnings, though you did use inspiration from Tales from the House of the Moon (also another so amazing fanfic) and you try hard to keep the characters IN character while also building on reactions, another thing I admire greatly in stories.

Now after my intelligent speech has been made, time to revert to insane fangirl mode.

Nice! I just reviewed your other story, and started reading this one, and I must say I really agree with your rules! Specially tha "No youkai Kagome" (mentioned in the other review), and the "Love and attraction aren´t the same thing"...
Though, there are some exceptions to the first rule..... Have you ever read "A Broken Miko", by RosieB..... wow.... It´s great....... really.... And she even has a great Inu/Kag story (I don´t read Inu/Kags, usually)
But I believe she only has it at fanfiction.net... so..... I recommend you to go there, and look for it.... ^^

This is an amazing fic, to think how you have intertwined all the time lines to make so much sense, I commend you on your large brain and use of it! I enjoyed the fact that Kagome is not useless and actually can defend herself, is still so thoughful and pure and worried for everyone but above all not a walk over. Sesshoumaru is great and it explains alot seeing him in her relative youth. I am saddened by the fact the inuyoukai apparently were almost wiped out. In a way I can see why they were really worried about keeping lines of youkai pure, otherwise the great and magical abilities would be watered down and swept away, however it is great that Kagome and Sesshoumaru are able to get together as they bring the best of both Youkai and Miko(humanity) to the fore.

Well done, I can hardly wait to continue this, I read it in about two days so far, so I am anxious to continue.

Only on chapter 2 but I must say that so far it has been gut wrenching to a certain extent. Up until the manga had the soul sucking clay pot die I was concerned that this ending for Inuyasha was the one that RT would give us! Kagome's sacrifice for her friends was a sad one, but I am glad that she included Sess in the mix. #1 no story without it, and #2 I have always liked the cold silent types. sigh. you're right, authors should be conscious of their grammar and SPELLING. this is the internet, many can access and read it. i'm a typical reader who checks grammar and spelling, i just hate reading good stories with horrible writing. your grammar is not bad but it still needs improvement. i'm not a perfectionist or anything, i'll admit that i'm not very good with english but i try to speak and write fluently (english is not my mother language... i'm a Filipino, "ako" is me in Tagalog). it's just annoying that most stories are good but poorly written.

I love your story I think it is very origanal, as well as creative, and imaginative. Furthermore, you have great character developement and the story flows, nothing seems to forced or fast. Aside from the speed of your up-dates, which are quick (I'm just impatient), I would have to say your's is one of the best stories I've read, not only recently, but ever.

Chapter 15: omg, wtf?! I'm all of a sudden very confused, very unsure, and very happy that there are more chapters so that my head doesn't implode from wondering what happened. I'm assuming Kagome changed the future. Fickle thing, time. Do one thing different in a before, and an after is completely changed. Fickle, fickle.

Chapter 14: Don't worry about OOC-ness. A secret for getting away with it is the style of narration. You use, primarily, a third-person omniscient narrator who tells the reader about what's going on inside the heads of multiple characters, but the narrator doesn't always have to tell everything. From time to time, you use a limited third-person narrator: one who only tells the reader what's going on in one person's head. Thusly, your narrator can let us in to Kagome's head while keeping us out of Sesshou's head, and you would never have to justify his oddness because the narrator wouldn't know. That's always my excuse.

I hereby dub chapter 11 the Official Warm-Fuzzy Feeling Chapter. There may be more warm fuzzy chapters here, but this is the official one. Is so cute!

For chapter eight: Thank God you only consider the third movie cannon. It's so true. It's the only good one, too.

Loved the whole kiss scene. Leave it to Sesshou to be a lump after giving the woman he's secretly in love with a kiss. I honestly hope Kagura saw that. Honestly. Conflict.

They make it clear that Inu is 200 in the third movie? Really? I don't remember that. Must watch it again. Although, if that's true, Sesshou isn't much older. Takahashi revealed that Sesshoumaru is supposed to look about 19, where Inu is supposed to look about 18 (erm... sure... That didn't go over well). So we use proportions! Sesshou would be about 211. And that makes even more sense because of how young he looked when speaking with his father in the third movie. ...yeah, rambling. Sorry.

And another, this time for chapter seven! Poor Sesshou must supress his... "urges" as you called them. It was very cute, their brief conversation about his moon mark thinger. I really wish we knew for sure where it came from, but the different ideas people have are interesting for sure.

I just found your fic, so expect sporadic reviews on various chapters. This one is for chapter three. Yay! Chapter three. It struck me as odd, how Sesshou and Kagome act around each other, even if they had been travelling together for a while. I don't know why--I guess I'm just used to him hating her before liking her. Although I really did like the last few lines. Sesshou is such an arrogant blowhard. Makes him such an awesome character.

I just got caught up with chapters 32-35. Well, I am overwhelmed by the sorrow of these chapters that surprisingly are empowering at the same time. I couldn't believe how his mother died and the cold heart that developed within Sesshoumaru. It going to be interesting how he explains this to Kagome upon her arrival. Well done

I was wondering how you were going to handle the problem of explaining why Sesshoumaru had tried to kill her in the future/past. He apparently holds a mean grudge ;-) Explains it all, really, and I hope she gives him hell for it. Can I mention I really like your update schedule? Much more fun than waiting for months between chapters.

And I know what you mean about bear/bare. The one that gets me is writhe/wither. Somehow the mood of a good smutfic gets broken when one of the characters turns into a raisin in bed. /sigh The downside of being reasonably competent in English I suppose. You notice these things. (If you actually find bad grammar annoying, you might enjoy Eats, Shoots and Leaves. It's a fun grammar diatribe.)

Ah, the pain has really gotten to him. Emothions are so hard to deal with that we often latch onto the wrong ones. *sigh* Thanks for the update BTW!

Ok so kill me but I simply adore you and your little girl. The stories that you tell your readers about her makes it even more interesting - and no I'm no psycho just a 21 year old that love kids (shoot me!!)

I have been addicted to Sesshou (well ok Inuyasha) since I first say it on YTV (Canadian teen channel - Man does it stuck in english) and since they only aired a very few and far appart episode I decided to dnwld (shot hand intended) the Japaness version. I have seen all 4 movies and though I do not own anything I consider myself a fan (since the little F*cked up town I live in doesn't really sell any Inuyasha Itemscoz if they did I would have - believe me.)

You fic has made me smile, smirk, giggle, angry, cry, snicker, and definitly feel in love with Sesshou from the past. Though I'm still wondering why Sesshou would become so distant with his feelings and WHY, oh WHY, he would become so cold to Kagome... but I have a theory, with the idea of you fic, naturaly and since I only watch the anime I still remember Sesshou's face when he saw Kagome and to me though at first glance it could have seen to have been hatred, I think that he was shock to she her back, although I'm sure his beast/heart realised who it was his mind didn't want to understnad it and though of her as an imposter... and when she took out his father fand from the "rock" I think that when he realize who she was or had a doubt at least ( still licking your fic with the anime)... All in all what I'm trying ot say is that it's a great great GREAT fic one that could explain a lot of things about Sesshou and one that could very well be what really happened after all...

I just can't wait to see what you come up wih next. I hope you have fun with your daughter and cherrish those little moment where she is a cute... "dork"(???) Believe me it will be "pleasant" to remind her with she's 13 and 14 years old, in front of all her friends non the less, that she use to wear her pant on her head a two and say she was Inuyasha (lol)

I just finished reading chapter 33. I think it would be beneficial to your future writing endovours (sp?) to let you know that I almost quit reading and deleted my bookmark for your story when Kagome "expertly flipped onto her back" and then summoned a bow and arrow made entirely out of her energy and killed the opponent in one shot.

I'm not trying to be mean. I was just rather disappointed with that particular passage. In the entire story, there has been no mention of Kagome developing these rather remarkale abilites, and all of a sudden she's a mighty acrobatic archer with a magic bow?

I encourage you to rethink this battle scene, I would also encourage you to leave Kirara out. However, if you feel Kirara and these fantastic combative abilities are crucial, I would encourage you to substantiate them a little more, please? Perhaps they meet Kirara a little before the battle, get to know her a little first? Rather than all of a sudden summoning a mighty morpin' power ranger bow, she simply has a normal long bow with her? Maybe Kirara landed and let Kagome mount her then took off into the air? Finally, perhaps she may have had to fire two or three arrows {at the very least) before she vanquished her rather large foe?

In a fantasy story such as this it is imperative that you set circumstance up so that your reader can have a proper suspension of belief, thereby accepting the scene as it is written. I'm sorry, but in following the story as it has been written up to this point, I just couldn't suspend my belief quite that much.

Again, I'm not trying to be mean or petty. I just wanted to try to explain why I found this passage so hard to accept. I hope that you will construe my criticism as constructive, but by no means to I mean it as derogatory.

I was very moved. Mattaki's comment about having an idea what fate bestowed upon him and his mate-saddened me. The susupense of her and the younger Sesshou is going to be a wonderful emotional rollercoaster ride.

Very touching I became teary. What a wonderful surprise to have her be with the parents and a younger Sesshoumaru. Thank you. I didn't see that coming.

I like how Kouga never seems to give up on Kagome. Although, this time he wasn't annoying:). The villiage incident was wonderful- I really loved it. Kagome's statement of wisdom crossed over to how our world is today. Believe it or not, I actually liked the argument between her and Sesshoumaru because it displayed the time and specie difference well.

Very funny with the inner demon and the voice of InuYasha. I really like the friendship between Kagome and Kagura. Good chapter

Amazing. Simply amazing. Profound. Unique. Superbly written. It is, by all means, a sublime example of a Sesshoumaru and Kagome fanfic and I applaude you for your marvelous talents and efforts. I noticed very few, if any, grammatical errors and the style is graceful and beautifully written. Kagome's character was captivating and believable and Sesshoumarus (both of them) were refreshing and true to form most of the time. I also love the way you included Inu papa and Sesshoumaru's mother...Is Mattaki his real name or is that artistic license? I do find Inu no Tashi interesting but as far as I know, no one knows his name. So, Kagome does have a run-in with Sango's ancestors, right? The same way she did with Miroku's? (Which was hilarious by the way.) The fact that Kagome was the one to deliver Kouga was equally amusing. I could go on and on about the whole story and everything I enjoyed but then we'd be here all week. I can't not *wait* until you update, so do so when the chance presents itself. Overall, very *very* well done. Kudos.

As always, loved it. When Sesshoumaru asked her to court him I was caught somewhere between exhasperation and adoration. I was like, "Man . . . only he could make something so cute sound so bussiness-like!" Of course, that also makes him wonderfully in character.
I'm excited to see what happens when they go back to the banquet! If you could get that chapter out soon, I'm sure we would all be eternally greatful! ^_^

Great interaction between youroriginal characters and the canon characters. The saving of Miroku's ancester was a nice touch.

A very enjoyable story. Please continue. It's very interesting to see Sesshomaru in the past and the effects Kagome is having, on him and other events. I like the foreshadowing in the story (i.e. Ryukotsu as the son of an already hostile rival Taiyoukai, etc). Reading the last few chapters has inspired me to reread the earlier chapters for clues about later happenings. Well done. Enough detail is given or hinted at in the earlier chapters to foreshadow what occurs later. Looking forward to more.

Oh, if I was a kitsune, my fluffy tail would be wagging fiercly! What a great 2 chapters. I love a budding relationship. It's so heart warming to read this story. I love teenage Sesshy and his awakening feelings. Loved the confrontation. Poor Kagome, getting smacked by the younger version of the man she loves. So confusing. Loved him feeling so remorseful. Also love how they reveal bits about themselves and how Kagome handled the Inuyasha question and the question about future Sesshy's "popularity." Thought it was truly cute that Sesshy kept pushing the question about who she kissed and ran away from. And how it made him smile so!

you could send them out to fetch some VERY expensive fabaric for a special kimono that is going to be mad for sessy's mom- since she seems too like kagome have his mom bring it up that the fabaric needs to be picked up but she needs someone she can trust not to run off with it to go get it, have kagome offer to get it(make sure this conversation happens at dinner) then make sessy's dad pipe up that sessy should go with her to protect her!!!!!! and sess cant go by himself b/c he is clothing retarded and doesnt know one fabaric from another so kags has to go too!!

It´s getting late and she hasn´t come back to the castle so Mattaki asks Sesshomaru to go and look for her. Sessh can´t go against his father will, so he has to go find her.

well, there's the usuall sickness invading the local villages and kag's like the good samaritan that she is, must go and help cure many humans. and Sess is forced by his father to accompany her as a body guard and therefore they're forced into each other's company for a prologed period of time and Sess finally get's that stick out his ass and realizes that kag's is a really neat and interesting and rather sexy young woman. Well I hope that gives you something at least to think about...hope you get someother ideas too, cause I'm busy wracking my brain for my own story and now I have oneshot I'm in the middle of too...grrrr...the life of a fanfic writer is never easy. =)

So, i'm guesisng that chick that first broke sess's heart was kags in the past's past, right? Now, about hurdles? How about, for humor if you'd like, an allergic reaction! Sounds a little weird, but it's like in monster-in-law when charlie ends up eating nuts and her mouth swells up something fierce!! This was not a "shitty" chapter. I liked it. Very few writers ever delve into Inu No Taisho. He seems very deep and compasionate from the snatches we can glean from teh show. I mean, come on, a demon who creates a sword to protect humans, and another that needs compassion to resurect the dead?? That takes some serious thinking and character.
Truly enjoyed this chapter. Don't worry if you think it's "forced" it was a good progression in how and why she is there, and intro to InuDad.

You may think your chapter was forced, but I thought it flowed really well.
Writing a filler chapter is always a pain in the butt, but it is a needed chapter and I like your ideas and emotions for INU PAPA.
The interaction between the two was well written and I think you hit all the emotions that would have came into play if two people were really talking about such a subject.
When Kags gives the picture of Inu to his father, I was moved. Only a parent would have considered adding that little act and putting it into the story.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next chapter!

first and second chapters. i have to say out of all the set ups for kags and sess i luv the way you handled inuyasha's departure it was dealt with far better than the average story. ie random kikyou (who i hate and really dont mind villifying) and inyahsa (who i mostly adore) assorted betrayals murder atempts and other nonsense is way overdone your treatment really much more readable.

chapter eight: With Kagura in the group, I smell jealousy. I felt bad for Sesshoumaru's first love. I am still not clear on how she left or vanished. His kissed Kagome-that was exciting!!

chapter four. Sesshomaru decided to help Kagome as a Friend. Me thinks he is enjoying her company. The conversation between Sango and Kagome was echoed the same sentiment of Sesshomaru but with the added wisdom . Good job.

I'm really confused. You keep mentioning her stay in Sesshoumaru's palace but there is no further elaboration on this time that the characters have clearly experienced but we, the audience, are left in the dark...wondering. I guess I'm just confused on the sequence of events and how they became friends because it seems a little out of the blue as written.

Am I missing something? I could be missing something...it happens... A LOT. Or maybe it's something you're going to explore later in the story and you just haven't gotten to that part and I'm just being impatient. I don't know...but I am confused.And it hurts my head. Terribly so. Hopefully later chapters will clear this up...

I just disovered your fic today - I think it's a good read so far. Much as I like the Kag/Sess pairing, some authors make InuYasha a total ass in order to get him out of the way. I think you "dispatched" of him rather kindly, myself, and I appreciate that you are making Kagome a strong person in her own right. (You aren't going to have her discover an unknown demon heritage, are you? -shudders-) The fun of Kag/Sess is how totally different they are on the surface but how alike they are underneath. This story is great! I can't wait to see what is going to happen! Oh, and I know what you mean about being picky about what stories you read. I, personally, have read many many Sess/Kag fics. At one point, I had close to 150 Sess/Kag stories on my favorites list on Fanfiction . net.
