Thank you so much for writing this fic. You got me hooked from the first chapter. Managing to keep to character, you were able to weave a believeable, not too complicated, story. (We all know when a certain demon dogs personality is involved thats not easy to do;))

I think Kagome although smart I think Sesshoumaru can tone her down refine her, while she can loosen him up and I just think they have more heat to explore between the two of them. Inuyasha could never truly see Kagome and only Kagome when he looks at her. Kikyou will always be between them, I see Rin maybe being for Inuyasha because by the time she ages just maybe Inuyasha will be ready for her. He has so much growing to do himself. Kagome and Inuyasha is like Wendy and Peter Pan. Wendy out grow Peter Pan, and I see Kagome doing the same with Inuyasha,

I love this story. I came back to fanfiction after a break and tried to find this story on fanfiction.net, only to find that I couldn't remember the name and it definitely wasn't in my favorites anymore. I am so happy to have finally found it.

Your characterization, plot, and story flow so well and come together in such a way that this is just a joy to read. You've done a great job, and I am so happy to be able to read this again!

I just began this fic. So far I am enjoying it. You have a good grasp on the English language, your style flows well, and you have a nice plot brewing. However, you also have stumbled over one of my pet peeves.

The first Europeans to discover Japan were a few Portuguese sailors aboad a Chinese vessel in 1543. Later, Jesuits and other missionaries began proselytizing in Kyuushu and very southern Honshuu. At its peak, Christianity in Japan claimed 10% of the population, almost all of them poor illiterate villagers, before the failed Shimabara Rebellion. The Tokugawa shogunate declared Christianity illegal, using much the same rhetoric that we see in anti-islam propaganda today.

In modern Japan, 1-2% of the population is Christian, though its been legal since the Meiji period.

Given that Sesshoumaru lives in 1500-ish Japan, BEFORE the first whispters of Christianity began, I highly doubt he will think in terms of winged angels and heavens and hells.

I can see how he might assume he would be sent to one of the Buddhist "hells," though even there the Bodhisattva Kannon (Chinese Kwan Yin) might attempt to alleviate his suffering, as might JIzou. Keep in mind that, other than the Pure Land sect of Buddhism (which I don't believe had much power at this time, but don't quote me on that, as I'm not sure) there is no "heaven," and the Pure Land of Jodo-shu and Jodo-shinshu is not very similar to the Christian ideal of heaven at all. Furthermore, other than the above-mentioned bodhisattva, I can't imagine any divine being that Sesshoumaru would believe in, except perhaps indigenous and/or shinto gods who might take pity upon him.

Kannon really seems the most likely, but Kannon in Japan is a man (Kwan Yin underwent a sex change crossing the Sea of Japan), and thus Sesshoumaru would not confuse Kagome for him, though he might perhaps think she was an attendant bodhisattva or that one of the bodhisattva had, in a rare moment of sexual egalitarianism, possessed a woman.

Other than the terribly anachronistic (and thus uncharacteristic) references to "wester" religions, I'm enjoying the fic.

This is probably the best fanfic I've ever read and most definitely my favorite. The way you are able to capture all the characters while still keeping a very unique and detailed plot line is priase worthy! *bows bows* I never really liked the pairing of Sess/Kago before now but your story really changed my mind and now they are my favorite! I'm hoping that you are alright though. I read this back when it was on Fanfiction.net but you haven't come back or said anything for years. Are you alright? I know I might just not be finding where you hang out now but I'd really like to know if you have the finished story somewhere or at least a couple of new chapters that aren't posted on this website. Yo! I just wanted to write and say how amazing your story is! I have been following it for a couple of years now (I think 2) and I have noticed that you have quit updating your story. I am greatly dissapointed because I enjoy your story and it's realistic (or as realistic as manga/anime can be) story plot and characters. You personify these people well and professionally in your story and I am actually able to invision the scenes you write, which is rare but pleasing. I hope that you will continue your literary work because it is an amazing work in itself but also because I enjoy it and it is not often I find writing or fanfiction that can keep my attention and imagintation intrigued for such a long time. This lowly reader begs for you, the oh so great write, to please finish for the sake of good writing every where (and for my own enjoyment an viewing pleasure ^-^).

This story is by far not only one of the best Sess/Kag fanfics I have ever read, but one of the best fafics overall. You have a plot that does not get too confusing, yet it keeps your attention. Also, I usually hate original characters. But I love all of yours! Nice work on Akito, he is my favorite. But what is wonderful is that you characterize Sesshoumaru and Kagome perfectly. Kudos to you. Keep it up.
