I have a feeling that I reviewed this once, a long time ago when I first read it, but I just had to do it again. No matter how many times I read this, it still makes me cry. There is so much emotion in it, even though it is short. Most stories have a happy ending, with Sesshoumaru giving Kagome his life span. But life is not always so simple, and I believe that Sesshoumaru is more in character in this story than in most where the two do end up together. I also love how the whole thing played out in just a few seconds. Amazing job.

So bittersweet - this one-shot was well-done and I loved the slow progression until Sesshoumaru finally knew that he loved her. It really stood out (obviously, it won an award at ASS).
