Heh... I just knew that someone would not be content with the battle against Naraku as I depicted it. I thought some would think it feels too short or somewhat rushed, but it really isn't. The focus of the story is in the SessKag romance, not in Naraku's downfall, so I felt no need to drag the battle out as it is nothing but a necessary evil of a sideplot. ^^;

Yes, there is a lot of sadness. But it will get better. Eventually. I promise! There will be a happy ending for all of this. :3

And the birth of their child will surely be an emotional ordeal, as you may see for yourself in the next chapter.

Quite many of the readers seem to have forgotten how young Kagome is in this fic. Such fundamental life changes are scary for a woman of any age, but being only 17 does not help at all. ^^;

Kagome's feelings are changing, and the story is drawing closer to its turning point. I will be including bits of Kenichirou and the Inutachi in the next chapter, too, so please look forward to it! ^^

No, Sango's not going to tell Miroku, that wouldn't fit right and that sort of thing, to me, really doesn't fit in with Sango's personality and action up until now- she's trying to push Kags to confront the professor, sure, but that's because it's the right thing to do. In that same context, Miroku knowing the details of the situation isn't a necessity and, unlike Sesshomaru, he's not being directly affected by the demon's antics, so he doesn't need to know, and even if he did it's not her place to fill him in. If anything, she'd make mention simply of the demon 'having gone too far', something to that effect, leaving it open for Kagome to elaborate if she wishes to.

Yes, with how much has happened since the story begun it is very easy to forget how young Kagome is. She's been through a lot of experiences that have forced her to grow, but she has not yet fully let go of the girl she once was.
You're right about the last connection. It is the connection of the heart, which of course means love. And while Sesshoumaru is already far gone, the feelings have to be mutually acknowledged. Though Kagome's still not quite there yet. But as you said, things are changing.
