Thank you, my dear! Yes, that's a studio shot, taken for my cousin's makeup portfolio
I am so glad you're enjoying 'Shanghai'...I'm having a fantastic writing the story, and am glad you can learn some Chinese from the story! If you ever have questions, just feel free to ask me XD The new chapter is up, and I hope you'll enjoy it as well.
Awww it's cute in a way how you guys have a language barrier! You know, the language barrier between Sesshoumaru and Kagome in 'Shanghai' might be really fun to read about, but ZOMG writing it is a pain-in-the-unmentionable. I am running out of descriptions for hand signs LOL.
Much love to you too!!

See! I told you. Same with me... I don't understand why people even read Haki... I don't see it as being well-written at all. We all have insecurities about our writing, and I bet that you're much better than you think.
People-whose-first-language-is-not-English FTW! I'm not very good at expressing myself in English, even though I learned it so early, so I understand what you're saying. It's one of those things that, because you don't necessarily think in English, it's hard to describe your thoughts. My friends find it funny because even after all these years, if I'm upset I don't freak out in English. I freak out in the first language I learned, Ojibwe
Wow! Thank you for the list I'll definitely work on learning those. I've been sitting here, trying to pronounce them and stick them in my brain! One request... if you don't mind, how would my name be said in Tagalog? The translation of my name is basically Silver Rain. The word used in Ojibwe describes rain that is falling, so it's something more along the lines of Rain That Falls Silver.
I hope you don't mind Tagalog is just so pretty! *makes mental note to see if Rosetta Stone has Tagalog software*
If you want to know how to translate something into one of my languages, be sure to ask
*checks list*
Paalam!... It sounds way less cool when I say it -.-

Oh gosh... how about the basics? How do you say things such as hello, goodbye, my name is... that sort of thing?
Pfffft, I bet your writing is great, you just can't see it because it's yoursX)
Ha! Way to turn my own simile around on me *feeble glare*

Ouch:/ Unenployment does suck! And it's not always easy finding a job these days... blah!
Haha, I love Tagalog! You'll teach me some?!?! I would love that! If you don't mind Yes, native languages are the same. Like Algonquian tribes all have the same root language, but the tribes all speak differently... kind of like the relationship between French and Latin.
Oooh, an original story! Are you going to post it online? I would love to read it, once the time comes of course. I agree, it's important to be authentic with emotions; anything less is sort of "blah" to read. Like drinking warm water>.

Hehe, I know right? I should get someone to film it so everyone can see my silliness! DX
Yeah, TOO many. I get mixed up sometimes, haha. I know Apache, Lakota, Nipmuc, Ojibwe, Navajo, Nimiipuu, English, French(wtf? Where'd that come from?) and I'm almost fluent in Cherokee and Hidatsa. Still working on those, though!
WAH! I always wanted to learn Tagalog. It's so pretyy! You lucky lady, you!XD
Eeew, icky writer's block! I'm so sorry... I hate that! Get better soon! Yes, I say that like it's a sickness. Because it is *shifty eyes*
Yeee! Please do But only if you have the time of course

Haha! I'm thinking about including pronounciation guides with the translations for that very reason It just seems strange to me, because Ojibwe was actually my first language. I learned Lakota and Navajo as I began learning English. In my house we only spoke Ojibwe, or Nipmuc because we lived on a Nipmuc reservation.
But I bet if I do try putting in the pronounciation guides, I'll be sitting at my computer saying random words aloud to myself and trying to figure out how I would spell them the way they're said a taste of my own medicine, I suppose!
Well, I'm writing the next chapter now, so hopefully I'll hear from you later

Oh! You reviewed! oh OH OH! Thank you so much for that I'm glad you find my story enjoyable and that the imagery is working for you.
Hehe sorry about that... When I first decided to include words from assorted languages, it was more for the fun of it. I didn't actually expect anyone to remember them People often tell me that they sit for a while in front of their computer trying to pronounce everything!
Thank you so much once again... *gives you fluffy teddy bear*

Ouch! I know what you mean about the sleep thing. I think I'm nocturnal at this point... It's 6:16 a.m. and I haven't slept yet. Icky!
What kind of phone? Because I know it sucks trying to read on my Blackberry T.T
Seriously? You're gonna make my head swell! But yes, I do try to keep it all accurate... I'm glad that's coming through XD... how to explain my process? hmmm... the phrase 'anal retentive' comes to mind. My family is getting tired of me calling to confirm details
Thank you again! You've really made me sosososososososooooo happy
