Well, I don't see it as a leash - and it's his own choice to do what he is doing. He wants to do it. Kagome never said she doubts Sesshoumaru or his word, that's something he is concerned with. And no... it's not some creepy spell. Basically, what I'm doing is nothing different than all those fanfics that talk about mating marks and bonds - I'm just going about it differently, is all, and it can't be done against his will, or her own.

Thanks for your review on The Olive Branch Petition!
I know I've been MIA for awhile, but it was for a -semi- good cause, I assure you ^_^". Considering this is an MMO fiction, I've been trying to hone my fight-scenes, and that only really comes with practice. That, and I've been re-reading this chapter over and over trying to fix mistakes in the plot line or add things to help it thrive.
Anyways, thanks for staying with the story! I haven't given up on it yet!

Honestly, I wouldn't say saintly so much as she's just grown up, plus she doesn't have an annoying hanyou around to have to sit all the time, which I thought they overdid in the anime, anyway. She's had her little hissy fits in this story, just not since she's come back from her era for the last time. Those are coming, I'm sure, there will certainly be arguments and the like.

Thanks for the review! I know, I too am sad to see Second Journey over. However, I am working on the sequel which will be in the future. Not Kagome's future (that will be for later), but in the future. Hope you will stay tuned for that one.
I am currently whipping it up.

I wasn't planning on Kagome meeting Inuyasha before the mating, to be honest. She does still have lingering feeling, but more than that, she has determination to let go of them. And it's not like she would fall madly in love with Sesshoumaru the moment they've said their vows anyway.
I couldn't even fit such a meeting in the chapter I'm currently writing, and in the chapter after that I've already planned to have the ceremony. But, I think I will include a scene of Inuyasha grumbling in Kags' absence at some point. 
And Kagome will meet with the lot soon enough, as you pointed out as well.

Oh, I figured it was time for them to get it on - after all its what, 5o some chapters into In Death and I figured fluffy-sama was getting impatient. Anyway, glad you were able to get caught up!

Thank you for reviewing The Void and for the name suggestions. I've already decided on the name, and I actually did as you are suggesting, using the name from the first one in the sequel. It's gonna be called The Void: Journey to Redemption. And no I haven't started it yet, hoping to as soon as Mates is done.

Thanks for reviewing We are Mates and yeah I don't know how she can do it, I can barely stay up for over 24 hours lol. About whether Sesshoumaru is wondering what is going on since he has no doubt meditated during that time, I have something about that as well as an update on the guys coming up in I think two chapters.

Thanks for reviewing We are Mates and sorry you reached the end of what i have so far, but I do hope to getting back to updating every Saturday, most likely starting with next week. Also while you're waiting for the next chapter, I do have plenty of other stories to keep you occupied .
