Thank you for your review. My aunt had breast cancer and a mastectomy so that's who I based Kagome on. My aunt doesn't talk to me a lot about her surgery either. I know she and my mother have had conversations about it though. So, I understand your feelings, in a way.
I'm quite sorry for your loss. My aunt was lucky in that her tumor was detected early enough to save her. I'm quite grateful for that.
Considering I have no experience writing them, I'm quite glad that so many people did say the last scene came out well-written. To be honest, I focused more on the physical acceptance and less on the sexuality in that scene. I hope that explains that scene a little better. And in a way, they both are having sex for the first time in their new bodies, so it is a new experience.
As for the rest, thank you for your kind words. I'll work hard on Part II (though I think I need a break as my emotions were everywhere when I wrote this part) and hope that you enjoy it as much as you did Part I.

Thanks for reviewing. I named the story Deep end of the Ocean because in it there would be a lot of angst and unhappiness at first. It is still Sess/Kag but like my other stories they as a couple will have a bit to overcome before any possibility of happiness comes about. Stick around I am sure you will be pleasnantly surprised.

More than anything...it pleases me most to read reviews that comment on the emotion they connected with the characters. I'm glad you were able to see the raw emotions that Sesshomaru portrayed this chapter in the "Hime Tradition."
I love the suggestion you left about Kagome awakening and healing the broken Sesshomaru. You know her very well...we shall see how this plays out though.
