Thank you again for another lovely review  I'm so sorry to hear that you're having flooding rains, though, but I'm glad that the rains haven't affected where you are. Where I am on Vancouver Island, we had some pretty bad rain/wind this past weekend, but not enough to cause flooding or too much damage (I think). Hope you've been having a great week so far! Feedback from KShadeslady: You are so welcome. Yes we have been lucky. The last few days have been heaven. Temps to mid 80s. We are going to cool down a bit this weekend. That is good. I really don't want it too hot. No real rain till next week, so that should help a bit. Vancouver must be nice this time of year? Yep, had a good week so far. Had to show up for jury selection, they took who they needed and released the rest of us. That was interesting. I've got a bunch of reading to catch up on. LOL

That's wonderful and a LOT of work. A friend of mine in TX just took her bar exam. Andi see that you have gifted us with more new chapters. I'm looking forward to reading them. -FDS Feedback from KShadeslady: That's okay, it sounds like you have been busy! Im so glad everything is going well for you. We are surviving our flooding rains. We live outside Bossier City in NW LA and our bayous are breaching their levees in some areas. Its closed the interstate just east of us and the traffic is really bad. We've had some 3500 homes under evacuation orders. It's pretty bad. We live in a higher area than others so we are fine but a lot of folks aren't. We haven't lost power so that's a plus. We've had 11.5 inches of rain so far and there's some more coming. Got to love an El Nino year. I'm staying at home and catching up on my reading. LOL

Thank you for your feedback on BOAF! I'm glad that Ch. 419 reminded you of Stella! I actually wrote that drabble in homage to her impeccable work. The woman has a wonderful way with words! I'm also glad that you're enjoying the progression of S/K's relationship. I've always felt that there needed to be some sort of mutual respect in order for their companionship to develop into something more. But of course, Sesshoumaru, that rascal, has to be cheeky while giving Kagome permission to have her wicked way with him. I really just want their connection to mean something, y'know?
P.S. My year's been swell so far, thanks for asking! I hope yours has been going just as smoothly. Feedback from KShadeslady: Have you heard from Stella? I'm worried about her. We usually write back and forth on Fanfiction.net but I haven't heard from her in a while. Since January, I think. I know she has been battling with her health and I'm very worried about her. Just wondering if you have heard from her. I'm going to send her out another message. She has become a good friend and I am just praying for the best.
I'm sorry, I kind of just dumped this on you. I just realized I never answered your very nice reply. Our year has been up and down. We lost our older male dog in Nov, got a 5 year old in December. We found out that he had kidney disease and we just lost him last month. He was a sweet boy and we were just heartbroken. He packed a lot of love in six months. Anyway our female was so depressed that we decided to get another boy right away. We found a lovely boy in Florida and we've had him for two weeks. He is just a sweetheart and is fitting in very nicely.

There have been times when RL has been particularly troublesome and your notes cheered me up. They're like little wonderful pick-me-ups!
