Hi! So many questions! I love it!!

So, Fuiasu wasn't lying when she said she had no romantic feelings for Naraku, back when she was explaining the entire situation to Kagome. She always only saw him as a friend. Naraku on the other hand, in his typically fashion, wanted something he couldn't have. She was heir to the West and already beginning talks of an alliance with Toga's parents. She was far out of his reach, and so over the years, very slowly, that helped twisted his soul to darkness. Toga's stealing Midoriko right out from under his nose also helped to that end, and then being refused by Inari-Kami, and subsequently killing/aborsbing her powers, was the final straw and he was lost.

Thanks for reviewing. I will give you some info because you asked lol! The emperor knows of their works and struggles because of reports he was given on them by the human lords as they traveled. Kags and Sessh would have sought council with him soon, their thinking was that all their real enemies were dead and they wanted to have another baby and relax after all the drama. They thought time was on their side, but you know what they say, no pain, no gain. I can assure you that the prophesy will come true, that's the only way to guarantee that demon-kind survive to the future.

Thank you for your review on First Snow! I want to say Kagome isn't the villain and Kikyo isn't all that good. They both have their flaws, and being ruler over lands ain't easy lol. I'm trying to keep their personalities mostly intact, Kikyo being kind-hearted and caring while having a hidden side and having the emotions of being vindictive and jealousy (Just like the anime). Kagome, in the anime, she was always feeling a measure of insecurity whenever it came to Kikyo, that feeling is merely being directed to other things such as being a ruler and as well as having Kikyo in the picture who could possibly be doing some revenge thing behind her back. I also used the bit of Kagome being a replacement as a bride instead of being reincarnated like in the anime to enhance some feeling of inferiority and that could explain some of her actions. I try to add influences from the anime to make some things more believable. Sorry for this long note, I hope I clarified some things with you, if you still don't understand, I'll try to explain it more in full depth lol.

Thanks for the review. Those are good questions. I will try to clarify.
Q: Why would she let herself be backed into a wall? Why didn't she kick his ass?

A: Inuhime is the strongest demoness as Sesshomaru is the strongest demon. They're nearly equal, but it isn't about power or strength. It's a matter of morals and principles; honor and respect for the hosts. She was getting angry for being disrespected in her own home. Ryu and Arashi disrespected and broke the rules for the so-called gathering. If Inuyasha and Sesshomaru hadn't came in when they had, she would had kick both of their asses. There was some history between the inu-twins and the other two, which I won't go into in deep details of their history, in anytime soon. Oh yeah, she was telling him to back away from her, but Ryu is an arrogant ass. He wouldn't listening to her even if his life depending on it. I believe that she allowed herself to be back into the wall was because she doesn't trust Arashi and/or Ryu, for that matter. So, she just step backwards until she hit the wall. A misjudgement on her part.

I love SessMom, too, that's why I had to include her. And I figured she would be naturally curious to know the mate of her son.

It's a holiday fic but more so. Christmas time is more of a setting, the plot could really happen any other time but this story is being done for prompts that are very Christmas-y.

And angst-wise, there are going to be some angsty parts coming up in the future but that's too be expected in any story as conflict often brings around at least a little angst.
