Thank you for your review on Petite Problems!! Sooo, I think the shard hunt was actually only a matter of months. From what I know and read, it was less then a year.

Thanks for the review! Yeah, the consequences of leaving Shippo behind is something I am planning to cover. And regarding Nohime, that will be answered next chapter.

Thanks for the review. Stuck lol! Seeshomaru wants Kagome and he is doing everything he can to keep her happy, because he knows that when she gets her memory back and Inuyasha returns things will get complicated. Kagome at that point will have to really search her heart and soul. Can she forgive him? Thats the question or will she hate him for the betrayal and turn to Yasha. Who knows. Anyway, the little secrets will come to light soon. Its going to be messy.

Kagome is not really that naïve. She's always been wary of Sesshoumaru and suspicious of his motives. Instinctively, she knows what's going on (though not the actual degree of his interest) but she is consciously rejecting that explanation, cocooning herself in denial. And I don't think Sesshoumaru has been all that obvious since there are some significant cultural differences between the two of them as they're different species.

Also I get where you're coming from and it's sweet you're angry on Kagome's behalf, but I think it's too harsh to say that the Inutachi betrayed her. They couldn't afford to stay behind and let Naraku gather the remaining shards. They CAN'T let Naraku win, so they had to get back on the road. Especially after suffering two huge setbacks with Kagome out of the picture and all of their shards stolen by Naraku. That's desperation, not cowardice.
Also they didn't know about the curse . Also when they left Kagome was still unconscious with a gaping hole in her chest. They couldn't foresee the wound mysteriously healing just a day or two after their departure, and fully expected Kagome to go back to her time to seek the medical attention she'd need, and where she would also be safe from Naraku's clutches.

Sorry for the rant. ^^; I got a bit off tangent. My heartfelt thank you for always taking your time to leave such lovely and thoughtful reviews! I hope you'll keep on enjoying the story.

Thank you for your lovely review on the Shikon and the Miko!

Your assessment of the story is very spot on! Sesshoumaru is indeed fully aware of what he's doing, while Kagome remains very much confused. ;D

Thank you so much for your very insightful comment on Life After Loss! You're right about reacting to grief, and I'm sorry to hear about your personal losses.

I have to admit I too worry for Sesshoumaru a bit. He keeps his feeling so bottled up and it can't be good for him. But what you said about his guilt and making up to Inuyasha... I believe helping and supporting Kagome is a part of his grieving process, one way for him to cope with his loss. He promised Inuyasha he would take care of her and he wants to uphold that promise. Also in part he believes that by helping Kagome he can redeem himself in Inuyasha's eyes, so to speak. That by fulfilling his promise to Inuyasha and caring for Kagome he can make up for their rocky relationship that they never got a chance to really patch up. Of course you're right in that he must be feeling a lot of things and the road ahead is still bumpy for the both of them. But they're both strong, and they will pull through.

Thank you again for your lovely review, it was very thoughtful.

Thanks for the review on MBSL. Kagome doesn't remember Inuyasha, what she has are bits and pieces of broken memories and dreams. She remembers golden eyes, white hair and nothing else. So when she saw Sesshomaru for the first time she made a connection. The jewel has something to do with the distortion of time as well as Kagome and Inuyasha. I can't say more, don't want to give my secrets away. You will find out soon what Rin's secret is and the cause of the blackmail.
