Thanks for your review on my story, yes Sesshomaru will end up with Kagome, but he has screwed up big time! He'll get his punishment and we'll find out why he did it very soon.

Kagome was not taught traditional healing methods, usually miko were trained from childhood, so it makes since that she's really not well trained to continue as a miko despite her reputation as a hero. She isn't much of a fighter in the show either, just an occasional arrow while her friends protect her the rest of the time. For my story she needed to be desperate, so I chose the worst possible scenario.

Thank you for the review on the Beast. The epilogue will be worked on at a later date that is unknown but I promise that everything will be tied together and it will be mucho better and it will be happy. For now the story is very open to potential.

It is a decidedly dark story before everything comes together for our favorite couple. I'll warn you I'll be dragging Kagome down into some very dark places (that frankly disturbed me to write) before she comes to find happiness. I hope you'll stick through to the end -Kagome will come out on top! lol

P.S. When I wrote about Kagome's reasons to marry a stranger, that part is actually closer to reality than fiction. Traditionally Japanese people are very leary of outsiders, during her travels she helped a lot of people who were desperate, but I don't see them going to her (who acts and speaks so differently from the community) unless it was life or death. Without family, Kagome would not have owned property and she can't become a geisha or skilled worker (like a seamstress) at her age. Without a husband in that society she would either have to be a beggar or go into prostitution. The young naive Kagome would never have married for anything other than love, but this is a slightly older Kagome who's been slowly starving to death. Reality has already knocked her down. I hope that helps you to see how I saw this version of Kagome. It's sad, but in my opinion, much more realistic to that historical period that was typically destructive to women's freedoms and happiness.

Miss H, for all her dislike of Dr. Nakai, asked him to just look out for her and pass along information. Basically so she could in her own way make sure her daughter was happy. She didn't actually mean for him to say or do anything to Kagome. However, the implications are there, even if she didn't intend it.

Sorry it took so long to reply back. I often forget about the feedback feature. I don't really like FF.net. I have an account but really don't do anything but read. I'm not back on here long enough at the moment to really look for one. After November I'll be looking for a long term beta for my fanfictions, but until then I'm gonna let it go as it.

I do, but I miss a few the first time around. I was looking for a beta but gave up on it. I'll get around to doing more editing later on.
