Okay so "that" time Kagome and InuYasha are remembering is in reference of Vol. 7 in the manga. It's when Naraku gives Sesshomaru a human arm so he can use Tessaiga; InuYasha and Sesshomaru battle, Miroku almost dies and Kagome gets hit on the head. InuYasha barely wins and Sesshomaru leaves. Afterwards InuYasha is so worried about Kagome's safety he takes her to the well and snatches the jewel from her neck after tricking her with an embrace, Kagome was obviously furious. So yes, here it goes, that's the reference.
