I was listening to "I Can't Make You Love Me" by George Michael and this image popped into my head.

Kagome sighed as she sat down on a log. The tears tried to force themselves outside of her eyes, but she held them back. An image of the man she adored against her better judgement drifted in front of her eyes and a small sob chokingly slipped from her mouth.
Looking down, she closed her eyes, drawing in a deep breath, yet it didn't work. The tears finally slipped from her eyes and began to slide silently down her cheeks.
