I think his face is indicative of how all conversation with Sesshomaru go:

Respectful Groveling-> Cautious Opening-> Wallowing Despair-> Faint Hope-> Absolute Joy-> Stunned Disbelief-> Growing Horror-> Abject Terror-> Wallowing Despair

Very circular and intimidating... but I'd totally risk it just to hear him talk to me XD
