I wanted to draw Sesshoumaru without his arm? Aaand, naturally, that usually leads to him being shirtless. Plus! Everyone else was drawing his hair up in a ponytail, so I wanted to try it *peer pressure*.
Also, I wanted more Kagome practice (I actually like her in this doodle), and I was thinking: He IS super tall...and she's always described as short. ..... Why does she always look SO proportional to him in fanart?
So. I was guessing he was around....6' 6", and she was about 5'4". But the resulting height difference, as one of my friends pointed out upon seeing it, looked a little suggestive. To remedy this, I took it into Photoshop and erased his elbow/forearm area and lifted her head about an inch in canvas.
I do remember imagining Sesshoumaru wondering if she secretly hid some kind of markings like taiyoukai did, because she's 'so powerful' *not being sarcastic*. That is why he is lifting her bangs to see her forehead. And I wanted an excuse for him to touch her. Especially her face. *~Fanart Fluff~*
All that thinking went on while I was drawing this. ^ (<3) I'm really surprised I remembered all of that from, what?, a year and a half ago? *go brain*

But truly thank you for showing the height difference for once as well, as others have pointed out.
...and so cute! And such good anatomy, and yay for drawing amputation (one of my best friends for years was an amputee, so I love when people don't shy away from it or feel the need to fix it or magically have it go away immediately in order to resolve feelings or make things complete/happy/whole/pretty. Urgh.) All around, a pretty nifty job!
And I agree with the height thing. Being a demon and an alpha demon of all demons, Me thinks he should be this 6'3 250lb hunk with strking eyes and bodacious bod and YOU, my friend couldnt have created a more heartstopping male. I cant wait to see your finished and colored works.

I'll put myself out there and recommend my own fic. I would be exceedingly flattered and honored (and probaby reduced to a heap of grateful, hysterical tears) if you wanted to do some arts for it: Stealing Heaven (wait- you're not a YIM, are you? O.o 'cause it's rated MA for good reason XD)
That aside, this is really beautifully done. I hope you complete it at some point. The concept behind it would also make for a good fanfic scene . . .or maybe starting off point. Hint, Hint . . . .>.>
Well, I was a writer before I was an artist, but I haven't kept up with it. I write here and there SOMEtimes, but never like what I wriiiite.
As a fellow short/petite girl, (at 5'2" barefoot), I know what it means to stand beside a tall guy. One of my best friends is 6'4" (you get used as a prop! And teased by your two taller sisters >_
