Alright I'm done wigging out now lol. Anywho yeah I know it's been awhile since I've put anything up, I've been suffering from a massive block!!!! But despite that, I finally managed to get this lil beauty done!
So as the title says, it's r0o's Empress of the Kami, Hatsumomo and all credit goes to her for the awesome lineart!!! r0o I LUBS YOU!!!!
Ok now that the kudos are done, there's a couple things I have to give links and disclaimers to.
First disclaimer is that lil castle in the distance is NOT MINE!! Second: the nebula brushes aren't mine either, those belong to Starwalt Design so here's the link for those: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§ion=&q=starwalt+cosmic+brushes#/d4b9at3
Third: I used a shading brush by GENZOMAN that I couldn't find a link to, and also 2 other texture brushes to make the shrubbery in the distance and I couldn't find those either :/ sorry about that but hey at least I'm not claiming them as mine!
Fourth: the rest of this was done with brushes that are basic to Photoshop, and I also did this the dichromatic way (I think that's how it's spelled *shrugs*) before going in and messing with the hue and saturation or just using overlay with a color.
I thought about making a tutorial on how I color and do things the way I do, but I dunno how to do that just yet so maybe on the next one. Just don't hold your breath lol, cuz who knows if the art muse will continue to agree with me.
Anywho sorry for writing a novel here, but I just wanted to make sure I covered all my bases and all that good stuff (that and I'm kind of tired so I'm in ramble mode ^_^)
I hope ya like it and also A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO VOTED FOR THE COLORED VERSION OF IXOQ!!!! That lil baby made 2nd place Best Kagome Fanart, and 1st place Best Story Art!!! Not only that but I also won 3rd place Best Action Art for -r0o's 'She Fights' colored- So once again THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU ALL ROCK!!!!!!
PS: The nebula part is supposed to be the Meidou (spelling?) lol
