I like to see it (...as is the secret plot to my currently expanding story 'Developments', shush) that Sesshoumaru's obsession over power (and therefore Tetsusaiga) is due to his want to fully come into his own power, or, in my little fan-world, maturity. Therefore, when Sesshoumaru regains an arm and gets a sword, he also gains some extra hair. x'D
