Lead the Way
Picture information
Description:
If you haven't been there yet, there's a new section on the site where you can leave a comment for Winter thanking her for all the years and years (nearly seven!) of hard work and dedication she put into A Single Spark and everything she has done for the Sess/Kag following. There's a link on the lefthand menu when you're on the main page of Dokuga. Go check it out everyone!
Anyway, this is the dedication I drew for Winter, minus the text/border. After all the joy A Single Spark has brought me over the years, I figure it was the very least I could do. ^_^;; It's sort of supposed to represent Spark and Dokuga "sharing the reins"--that Spark will never really go away, instead, the two sites stand united together. It also represents that Winter lead the way for us--she was the first to unite Sess/Kag fans together in one place and bring the community together, and today, that community is thriving. We won't forget everything she has done for us.
About the image itself: So, I learned an important lesson. I've been experimenting with using larger image sizes and then shrinking at the end, which works very well to eliminate small errors and make it overall look nicer. Apparently, there is a limit to this tactic, and I have found it. Working too big is BAD! I had a lot of trouble with formatting when I tried to shrink at the end, and I never quite got it right. *sighs* Ah well. Live and learn.
