this is beautiful. to me it shows the hard masculinity of sesshomaru and the infinite regalness or the superiority that he has naturally inbreed to himself.
Haha, I don't deserve admiration. I've got a lovely book titled "How to Do Everything with Illustrator" which is teaching me, chapter by chapter, exactly that.
Also, in response to SilverWaters' comment, the eyes actually use 6 different colors, if you count black and white. There was a base gold, with shading, an intermediate color, and then highlights. And then white for the shinies and black for the pupil. I thought it would make a neat effect to have only the eyes be detailed.
I can see what the first commenter meant about the moon... maybe I shouldn't have done it in blue. Perhaps it would make the piece more cohesive if it were black?
You've got my eternal admiration--I owned Adobe Illustrator once, and I could never figure out how to do a darned thing with it--let alone this! Such lovely flowy stylized hair--I wanna wear him on a t-shirt or something, lol. Sexy hair indeed!
I think I have a new favorite Sesshoumaru fan art piece! It has this wonderful art deco feel that I love. So elegant and beautiful just like Sesshoumaru. It's absolutely perfect. If my laptop was functioning I would set it as my wallpaper so I could look at it all the time! Sooo so so pretty.
