Alice Inuyasha style 2 sketch
Picture information
Description:
This is the characters I assigned for Inuyasha's group for the Alice in Wonderland Challenge.
I should have the colored one up tomorrow
My reasoning behind them:
Kagome as Alice (of course)-
Alice falls down a rabbit hole and Kagome falls down a well while they both get transportant to weird worlds unlike their own. Its a no brainer.
Shippo as The Cheshire Cat-
The cat's grin is supposed to be reminiscent of the vagaries of a trickster which is what a fox demon is famous for.
Inuyasha as The Mad Hatter-
This is the one that I have the least reason but all the other main character roles were full and I needed this one.
I don't think Sesshoumaru fits the character but everyone seems to put him as so.
The hatter has essentric behaviour and so does Inuyasha.
Miroku as the March Hare-
The name for the character came from the common phrase in the writers time "Mad as a Marcg hare". The proverb is based on the popular belief about a hares' behaviour at the beginning of the long breeding season.
That just fit Miroku so well with the whole "will you bearer my children" thing.
If you can't see I put a slap mark on the side of Miroku's face.
Sango as Alice's Sister
Kirara as the Kitten
