Deep End of the Ocean!
Picture information
Description:
This is my tribute to Moonlight Silk's story "Deep End of the Ocean!" Link: http://www.dokuga.com/fanfiction/story/9421/1?author=14264
The story inspired me to try to draw something slightly more interesting and involved than just portraits. As you can see, I still have "floating torso" syndrome, but I did try to channel the passion and tension from her story. You'll be on the edge of your seat reading it, it'll frustrate you (in a good way) and keep you hooked! I definitely recommend checking it out!
Also, I scanned this picture instead of taking a picture with my phone and I must say that it looks a million times better! I wish I'd done that with all my work on here.

I'm in love with your style.
Thank you so much! I'm really blushing here :) I use a red color pencil!
Your lines are impeccable, the shading is very characteristic and well-blended, and the "floating-torso syndrome" gives it an air of delicacy and centers the attention on the faces.
Speaking of which, wonderful rendering of emotion (AND super-smexy Sesshoumaru - that's a smouldering gaze if I ever saw one).
Do you use some sort of watercolor or pencil to add that touch of pink, or is it a side-effect from the scanning?
Thanks so much! I am a huge fan of your writing, I really appreciate your nice compliment. And I would definitely recommend checking out Deep End of the Ocean! :)
