Introduction

This honestly is a really lazily written fanfiction. I just got back into writing as of recently and this was the first thing I finished. So, please be kind if you review. The story is technically finished, but I will post the rest of the chapters later.

Ring

Ri-

"Hello, Taisho residence." A young voice answered.

"Heya, Rin, its Kagome." Kagome smiled into the mouth piece of her phone, "I decided to call to see if we can hang out. I still haven't met anyone else at school besides you."

"Oh, sure. Would you mind coming over to my house? My dad is out and I'm waiting for one of his packages to come. He would be upset if it was left at the gate." Rin answered.

"Mkay." Kagome wrote down the address that was given to her, "I'll be there in a bit."

Kagome hit the 'end call' button on the screen of her phone and got off her bed that she laid across to call her friend. Kagome had midback length midnight black hair that was wavy. Her eyes were a bright blue that were lined in long dark lashes. On her cheeks was a single silver stripe that ended in her hairline showing her inuyoukai heritage.

She quickly changed into a pair of light blue jeans and a white shirt. She put on a pair of ankle boots and grabbed a black jacket on the way out of her home. She left a note by the door for her mother and walked outside to go to her car.

After several minutes of driving, the houses became far between and she looked at her GPS that she typed the address in. Seeing that Rin's house was coming up, she kept going until she came to a gated entrance. She had a nice house too, but nothing like this.

Doubt filled her and she quickly called her friend, "Hello?"

"Hey, Rin." She said slowly and looked around, "I think I'm at your house, but you never told me you lived in a mansion."

"Well, my father is the owner of a large company and very popular." Rin giggled, "Several actually. Anyway, I'll let you in."

With that said, the gate opened, "OK, I'll be a second."

Kagome hung up the phone and drove down the driveway lined with sakura trees in full bloom. She pulled up to the house right as another car pulled down the drive behind her. She stepped out of her car and waited for the car to park before walking towards the front door.

She was stopped at a deep silky voice, "Can I help you?"

She turned slowly to lose her breath at the sight of a silver haired god. While his face was blank, his eyes were honey gold, lined in maroon, along with two stripes on each cheek. On his forehead laid a crescent moon that was blue.

She swallowed hard, "I'm here to see Rin."

He walked up to her and looked down at her, and she could help but take in his scent, "I'll take you inside..."

"Oh, Kagome." She bowed to him lightly when she realized that he was wanting her name. She looked at his face again and silently cursed herself when she realized what his royal mark meant, "I didn't realize that Rin was the daughter of the Lord of the West."

"Hn, yes." He motioned for her to follow, his face hard.

He only stared at her for a moment before unlocking his door and opening it. When he opened the door, Rin practically tackled her while trying to hug her.

Rin smiled brightly, "Well, this is my father, as I guess you have met."

Rin was a bubbly looking girl with shoulder length brown hair and eyes. Her face was plan except for a single baby pink stripe on each cheek.

"Yes, we arrived at the same time." Kagome looked at the Western Lord through her lashes.

He looked at her again before looking at Rin with a dour look, "Has my package arrived?"

"Not yet." She tilted her head, "What are you doing home so early?"

He put a hand on top of her head, "I had a little complication come up that I have to deal with." He looked back at Kagome again.

Rin smiled at Kagome, "She will be around a lot. I actually like her."

Kagome blushed, "I hope to be here for you, Rin."

He nodded at them and went to leave the room, "If you need me, I'll be in my study."

They watched him leave and Rin practically floated over to her, "Let me give you a tour!"

Kagome's eyes widen as she was dragged though the house.
