"I love this record baby but, I can't see straight anymore" Kagome hit her alarm clock and, tried to fall back asleep before her mother rudely interrupted.

"Kagome..."

Kagome pulled the pillow over her ears as readied for the ultimate scream that would complete her mother's mission for waking her up for school.

"KAGOME GET UP YOUR GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL"! Was the ultimate scream from her mother, who was located in the kitchen of their home.

"I'm up Mom" Screamed Kagome back

Kagome got up and walked across the hall towards the bathroom. When she stepped into the light blue washroom and, turned on the lights. She then began the process of brushing her teeth and, then her hair. After she stripped out of her black XL t-shirt and, black shorts she stepped into the shower. She turned on the hot water then washed her hair and, body. When she had finished from the shower she, stepped out of the bathtub and wrapped herself in a black towel. She walked into her room with her hair dripping on the back of the towel. She turned on her laptop and, she played some music while looking at the time. It was 6:30 am and, the song she played was Just Dance by Lady Gaga.

Kagome blow dried her hair and, then she grabbed the mousse foam and, put some in her hair, causing her hair to look wavy, when her hair was naturally straight. Her hair looked like it was highlighted with a touch of dark blue. Kagome's hair was unique, it was all black but in the light it looked blue. She then put on black mascara, black eye shadow, black eye liner and, clear strawberry lip gloss. When she was done her make-up she, walked to her closet. She opened her closet door and, picked out tight black pants and, a black tank top. She then picked out a black sweater that hugged at her curves. Kagome closed the closet door and, looked at herself in the full mirror that is located on the door of her closet. Okay this is good enough for school

Her cell phone begun to ring *My Heart* By Paramore

"Hey Baby"

"Hey Inu"

"How are you getting to school"?

"I have no clue"

"You want me to come pick you up"?

"Sure babes"

"Okay I'll be there in five minutes tops"

"Okay see you then"

*They Hang Up*

Kagome sighs inwardly, why did he have to cheat

How am I going to break up with her...? I need to do it soon; Kikyou's going to be enrolling today. Kagome has been my best friend but, I'm in love with Kikyou

[Kagome ran downstairs and, headed towards the kitchen]

Kagome's mom looked up from stirring something on the stove as Kagome was heading into the kitchen. Her mom was wearing her black dress pants and, a light blue blouse. Her hair was tied in a neat bun and, she was wearing no make-up but small gold hoops in her ears.

"Hey hunny"

"Hi mommy, Inuyasha's going to come pick me up. He should be here just now and, you know how impatient he can be"

"Yes I know how impatient he can be" Kagome's mom smiled at her.

Kagome could always do so much better then Inuyasha, why she stays with him I don't know. Sesshomaru was always the better catch

"Are you going to come home early from school today"?

"Not too sure, I have to go to work at six today"

"Oh I see, well I will be going on a date tonight" Ms. Higurashi turned to Kagome to see her reaction

"Mom you are"! Kagome was ecstatic for her mother; she hadn't been on a date in forever. Mom hasn't been on a date since dad left her with me! That was almost sixteen years ago

Kagome's mom smiled before looking back to what she was stirring. Then she turned the stove off and, put the lid on the pot. Before she turned to Kagome.

"Mom what time is your date"?

"At seven"

"I'm going to come home right after school, so we can pick out your outfit"

Ms. Higurashi smiled before she said

"Thank you Honey"

"No problem mom, you're going to look gorgeous. Who's the lucky guy"?

"The lucky guy is, Thomas"

"The new guy that works on the fourth floor, then one you told me about"?

Ms. Higurashi nodded shyly a light blush rising to her cheeks.

Inuyasha honked his horn and, Kagome quickly gave her mom a kiss on the cheek. Ran to the front door then, picked up her backpack from beside the front door as well as put on her black DC shoes. Then said...

"Bye mom, see you after school"

"Bye Honey have a good day at school"

"Have a good day at work don't think about Thomas too much"

Kagome laughed then, opened the door and, ran out before her mother could say anything to her. She closed the door and, approached Inuyasha's red 2008 Cadillac CTS that has customized black leather interior and, a sound system to die for. She entered the car as, Kagome entered the car Inuyasha turned down the music which she didn't care for. When she was seated, Inuyasha leaned over and, gave her a peck on the cheek.

"Hey babes"

"Hey Inu"

Kagome looked at him and, smiled a half-hearted smile.

He's going to break up with me today; Kikyou is coming to enroll

When she thought that thought she, let began to scan Inuyasha's aura and, she noticed that there where traces of Kikyou in it.

Might as well ask him about it! But, wait doesn't that only happen when you've been intimate with the person in question

Kagome reached over and, turned off Inuyasha's music, which she wasn't paying attention to.

Why's Kags so distant

"Feh, why'd you turn off the music"?

Kagome ignored his question and, asked him on of her own

"You know, Kikyou's enrolling at Tama High today"

Inuyasha shot her a dumbfounded glance, but Kagome did not see it because, she was gazing out the window.

"Yeah, I think you told me something like that"

"No, I didn't"

"I swear you did. What's up with talking about Kikyou"?

"Oh nothing really, just curious"

"Curious about, what? There's nothing to be curious about"

"Really"?

"Feh"

"Then why is it that you have traces of Kikyou's aura in yours"?

Kagome stopped gazing out the window to look at him. They came to a red light and, he looked at her. His eyes softened She knows

"What are you talking about"?

"That your aura has traces of hers in it. That only happens when you've been intimate with someone, isn't that right"?

"So, yes"

"In a way did you just admit to you have been intimate with her"

The red light turned green and, he continued to drive towards the school"

"Can we talk about this when I'm not driving"?

"Yeah I guess, not that I'm expecting you to tell me the truth"

"Feh, you think I'd lie to you"

"We'll talk about this when we get to the school"

Kagome just gazed out of the window of the car as Inuyasha drove.

Inuyasha on the other hand, his mind was racing an hour a minute. She knows, I never meant to hurt her. I wanted to at least be friends with her, fat chance that that's going to happen now. Why did I continue to date her, knowing I had feelings for Kikyou, she's going to be so hurt. She's my best friend the only person that accepted me as I was; it's been like that ever since we were small. And I go and, hurt on of my few, true friends. What is wrong with me? How can I mend our friendship

Inuyasha pulled into the parking lot of Tama High and, parked all the way at the back. Kagome took out her phone that was in her bra and, looked at the time. They where 20 minutes early, This gives us ten minutes to talk before Sango and, Miroku get here Kagome placed her black iPhone back into her bra. Then stepped out of Inuyasha's car grabbing her backpack as well, Inuyasha got out of the car and, placed the keys into the pocket of his black faded jeans.

Kagome finally took in Inuyasha's appearance, his long silver hair was left down, he wore a red shirt that said 'What you looking at?' black faded jeans with black shoes.

"What do you mean you didn't expect me to tell you the truth"?

"It's obvious Inuyasha"

Kagome walked towards the bleachers that were a just past a fence, although there was a whole that was huge courtesy of Miroku. She went through the whole in the fence, Inuyasha followed. When Kagome and, Inuyasha got to the bleachers they sat down her a bit away from him. After they where seated Kagome spoke.

"How long have you been seeing Kikyou"?

Kagome looked at him while he avoided looking into her eyes. Inuyasha said nothing,

"Inuyasha!"

"For a little bit more than a year"

"Oh, I see. You must have forgotten that you had a girlfriend for three fucking years"

Inuyasha looked up at her to see that her eyes hardened. The beautiful blue eyes that were the most expressive thing he'd ever seen had hardened.

"No, I didn't but, Kikyou's different"

"Yeah she's a lot different from me. We all knew that"

"That's not what I meant"

"That pray tell, what did you mean Inuyasha"

"I meant that at first I didn't think it would go anywhere, I thought that we would remain as friends but, then things changed. I started to see you more and more as just my best friend as the days passed by"

"You've lost me as that too Inuyasha"

"No Kagome don't say that"

"Inuyasha it's too late"

Inuyasha reached out to touch Kagome

"Don't touch me Inuyasha" anger seeping into her voice,

"Why would you try to touch me, you slept with Kikyou and, expect me to be your best friend still" more anger seeping in "You've been cheating on me for over a year and, you think that I would still be your best friend"

Inuyasha could feel her miko energy building up, If I'm not careful she'll purify me

Push me just a little bit farther Inuyasha, I dare you

"I know I hurt you but—"

"But what Inuyasha? That you think that I would remain loyal to you as I have been throughout our relationship, that was quite a waste of three years don't you think"

"It was a growing experience"

More miko energy building, then Inuyasha did the stupid thing he went to touch Kagome again and, was shocked by her miko energy.

"Kagome, calm the fuck down"

"Me calm down Inuyasha, when I've been lied to, cheated on not even for just a couple of months, for over a year. What you didn't have balls to tell me?"

"No it's—"

"No excuses Inuyasha. That's not what I want to hear, I know if your lover hadn't been coming to enroll you would sweet talk your way out of it but, you don't need me know do you"?

"I -"

"You don't you never cared about me, don't make me purify you Inuyasha"

"Why would you"?

"Because, you fucking imbecile there are numerous reasons, want me to name some?"

More miko energy building, Kagome could feel the power ready to attack Inuyasha her control over the power was becoming less and less.

"Although, you don't have to answer I think I'll give you some. One you cheat on me for over a year, two you think we're still going to be best friends, three we won't even be friends and, four you didn't have the balls to tell me you continued this farce of a relationship we had"

"Kagome—"

"Inuyasha leave"!

Kagome's control over her powers nearly gone, Inuyasha could sense that her control was slipping and, he left. While he walked away he thought I will talk to her later on today, I can not lose her as my friend

Kagome breathed in and, out to calm herself before she hurt an innocent demon. She continued this until she felt some of her anger ebbing away the only way to control my powers is by controlling my anger. Kagome could hear Sango's voice in the parking lot with Miroku. Expect a phone call in 5, 4, 3, 2, and ...

Kagome's ring tone *My Heart by Paramore*

"Hello"

"Where are you"?

"Bleachers"

"I'm coming"

Sango hung up, Stupid daytime minutes

Kagome continued breathing in and, out until Sango she sensed Sango and, Miroku's aura approaching the bleachers. By the time Sango and, Miroku arrived Kagome's powers where in check but, her anger was still there almost untamed. Sango came and, sat beside her while Miroku sat on the bleacher one above her, directly behind Kagome. He begun to massage her shoulders trying to ebb away some of the tension from her body, because Kagome never was by herself so something was definitely up.

Kagome murmured a "thank you" to Miroku

"What's wrong Kags"?

"Inuyasha"

"What'd he do, I'll beat the shit out of him for you"

"No San, I don't want you to do anything to him"

Sango rolled her eyes, "If you don't want me to I won't"

"What did Inuyasha do" Inquired Miroku as he continued to massage Kagome's shoulders.

He sensed that her aura was no longer laced with power but, yet he continued knowing that she did enjoy getting massages.

"He cheated on me, with Kikyou for over a year. He slept with her recently"

"Kikyou your cousin"? Asked Sango

"Yeah, the one that looks like me"

"I'll kill her"

"No San that's family"

Sango muttered something about not being able to kill anyone, and that made Kagome laugh. Miroku stopped massaging her shoulders.

"Well you know since your like single now there are going to be guys lined up at your feet Kags" said Miroku

Kagome laughed again

"Yeah, you can say something like that"

"You know that they are especially Kouga, Naraku, and Hiten"

Hiten's pretty cute

"You can always play the field" said Miroku "I would like to add myself to that list but, alas I'm already tied down to the lovely Sango"

Kagome laughed at him, Sango glared at him and, Miroku smiled.

"Think I might stay single for a while. I've been dating Inuyasha for three years now. I think I need sometime for myself"

Kagome smiled and, looked at Sango. Both girls started laughing, Miroku kept looking between the two girls trying to figure out what they where laughing at but, he remained clueless it was a girls thing.

Miroku looked at his watch for the time,

"Ladies, I hate to break this keep-things-away-from-Miroku-time but its 7:45."

"Time to go to our lockers" said Sango.

Kagome stood up picked up her backpack, Sango and, Miroku followed with her action. The trio started to walk towards the back entrance of the school.

"You two go to your locker, I'm going to head off to mine, meet you guys by the bleachers at lunch"?

"Sure" said Sango

The trio entered the school and, begun to head there separate ways.

"Bye San, Roku"

"Bye Kags" said the couple in unison.

Miroku and, Sango headed towards the left so that they could get to the art hallway while, Kagome keep walking straight towards the business hallway. Kagome walked to her locker saying hi to people that she knew. When Kagome got to her locker, she proceeded to open her lock so that she could get access to her belongings. While she was opening the lock to her locker, Sesshomaru begun to proceed with opening his lock so that he could also get his belongings.

Well not much of an ending if I do say so myself but, I did take into consideration that I was letting this story progress way to fast. The adding details review really helped me see where I was wrong. So as you can tell I added some more detail and, delayed the meeting with Sesshomaru. For the few that read the first unchanged chapter, you will be able to see the differences. I think that it is much better and, I hope that you do as well.
