A Dribble, A Drabble, Seven Not So Deadly Prompts for June

Note: These are the rest of my prompts from D/D night. I missed the last two prompts. Hope you enjoy them.

Prompt: Rise

Kagome couldn't stand it. Here she was, surrounded by youkai females, determined to be by Sesshomaru's side. They all ridiculed her for being the only human, with the exception of Rin, calling her weak, stupid, ugly, not to mention pathetic. Kagome could only stand there, refusing to cry, and clench her fists. They pushed her to her breaking point when her aura rose up, knocking everyone around her unconscious. "Dumb wenches. That should teach them to call me all those names."

Sesshomaru smirked at the scene before him. "Indeed".

Prompt: Cycle

Life for Sesshomaru and Kagome seemed to go in a loop. Inuyasha would knock Shippo upside the head after the kitsune took his ramen. Miroku would get slapped after groping Sango, his wife. Kouga would come by calling Kagome 'his woman', knowing full well she was mated. Inuyasha and Kouga would get into it and the hanyou would get sat. Of course, Inuyasha would leave after seeing those accursed soul catchers, courtesy of the equally accursed undead relic. This happened over and over again, now that both packs were combined. However, they both wondered if the cycle would end after they defeated Naraku and destroy the Jewel. One could only wait.

Prompt: Reflect

Kagome sat back as she reflected upon her time in the Feudal Era. Tears fell down her cheeks as she was forcefully sent back to her time after the Jewel was wished upon, knowing she would never see most of her friends again. She decided to take a walk. Perhaps it would do her some good. She knew her friends wouldn't want her to see her like this. The miko reached the park and sat on a park bench. She was watching the sun set when a voice interrupted her thoughts. "Mind if I join you?"

She turned to see Sesshomaru standing there, and with fresh new tears, she leapt at him, hugging him tightly. At least a piece of the Feudal Era existed as they sat well into the night, reminiscing about the Feudal Era and sharing new stories with each other. Perhaps this was the start of something, a future together.

Prompt: Wax

Sesshomaru and Kagome were walking in Madame Toussaud's when suddenly Kagome stood in front of a wax figure that was VERY familiar. They actually made a wax figure of the Lord of the Western Lands himself, Sesshomaru. The taiyoukai frowned with curiosity at Kagome's expression when he turned to see a figure that bore a striking resemblance to himself. His eyes slightly widened as the artists were very accurate from his stoic expression to his feudal attire. "Interesting."

"The artists are amazing. I never would have thought they'd make a wax figure of you. Never knew you were that famous."

"Hn. Tell no one of this." He was glad his concealment not only hid his markings but turned his silver hair as black as his mate's.

"My lips are sealed."

Prompt: Tide

Sesshomaru was getting tired of this as another female youkai challenged Kagome for the title of Lady of the West as they fought. For a while, the female had a huge advantage until the tide turned with the flare of Kagome's powers. After a while, Kagome finally had her sword at her opponent's throat, demanding that she yield. The female reluctantly yielded, but not before giving her a glare of hatred as she got up and left. Funny how these youkai females are defeated by a simple human girl who happened to be a miko. He knew he made the right choice.

Prompt: Pale

As Kagome looked at both Inuyasha and Sesshomaru, she wondered how it was possible for the taiyoukai managed to maintain the paleness, especially when he traveled with Jaken, Rin and Ah-Un. It was a stark contrast to Inuyasha’s permanently tanned skin. She figured both were attractive in their own way; Sesshomaru being pale-skinned, walking with a regal air, and having a cool, sometimes eerie calm aura about him being compared to Inuyasha’s tanned skin, wilder behavior, and brash attitude. She could only imagine what life would be like with Sesshomaru. It didn’t hurt to try.

Prompt: Moon

Kagome couldn’t believe it. Here she was, on her way to a rave with her friends to check out the latest DJ who has come on to the scene; DJ Silver Moon. Of course, she had every CD mixed by him and wanted to see him up close. She loved the way he mixed the latest tracks in his most unique style. And so, she and her friends were on their way to the unnamed location where the rave was supposed to take place. After a couple of hours of driving, they arrived at the spot. And they were just in time for DJ Silver Moon’s set. Ravers were screaming and dancing as he started his set. Kagome’s jaw dropped when she noticed that DJ Silver Moon was actually Sesshomaru. All this time she had been a huge fan of the former Western Lord. She raved on along with the rest of the crowd. The DJ knew she was there, enjoying the music. She was enjoying dancing as he was mixing. What a fun night.
