Illusion

It was a hard life; that Kagome knew for certain, but it was rewarding in of itself.  Just seeing how her actions as miko helped her village made her happy.  Every morning she would rise earlier than the sun to gather herbs, and that was okay because with them she helped the ill.  Every day she would run around to attend to her people, and that was okay because although she had no time to eat she was thanked.  Then every night she would work late, and convince herself that her happiness wasn’t the illusion she was thinking it was.
