Cleansing
I do not own Rumiko Takahashi's characters, nor do I profit from writing this. Unless you consider profit to be how much enjoyment I get from this. If that's the case, then I made some enjoyments today.

Down into the watery depths they went, holding each other close. The water just kept rising and rising and rising. Soon, it was all around them, but this was what was good for them. This weekly ritual cleansed them of their dirty ways. Water whooshing, swishing around them, in every fiber of their being. Shirts rub closely against shirts. Pants and skirt meet, tangled in that melodious dance. The water warmed, flowing faster around them. It was as if it too wanted to fulfill their needs. No one else to see them there, all alone in their dance.
Their movements started out slow, lethargic even. They had to get used to the water about them. Then, all seemed to be going faster. The vibrating sounds shook the water more. Closer and closer, they climbed to their finish. Covered in both a sweet smelling odor, being washed away by the watery depths, they would pull away a second, only to return beside each other once more. Faster and faster. Harder waves were created under the water. Sounds grew louder and louder, over and over, so close to the end. They would make it to the end. They would not rest 'till the end. Then there it was. A quick hit within the flowing water. The water clamed enough for their movements to come to a halt. They had found their desired cleansing. They slowly rose from the water. It had done its duty. Its work was done.
Sesshomaru smiled happily. He loved washing clothes. He sighed out of disappointment as he heard the sound of the washing machine tell him it was done. Opening the door to the washer, he was getting ready to wash the second round, where the wetness is blown away by the heat radiating within that miraculous machine. If only they had such things back in the Feudal Era.
