The rushing stream tumbled off the cliff’s low edge and onto the silver figure waiting to disrupt its path. Parting to accommodate him as any self-preserving entity would, the cool liquid was rewarded greatly for its acquiescence; given leave to roll down the great warrior’s physique as most could only dream to. Lean, powerful muscles exposed themselves as he tipped back his head and forced the falling water through silky, moon-spun strands; the careless act inciting arousal just as easily as fear. Glistening like an angel, he took reprieve from hellish noonday heat while she watched safely behind forest trees.
