Awww... poor Kagome. Aside from the drama and heartbreak (which I adore)... will her profession as a researcher play a major role in the story? Like... will she and her team have a breakthrough in something that will make Sesshoumaru ' s company have to acquire their research for profit and whatnot, making her more desirable to Sesshoumaru and regretful for breaking up with her and more drama ensues where she's full of badassery and yeah? Lol. Thanks for the update :) can't wait for more!

Looking for a strong Kagome in this. She is handling Sesshoumaru's almost indifferent with grace. Hope you do make him suffer for his not being faithful or truthful.

Gosh, this is the type of AU I've been searching for. Most of the stuff I found are either abandoned, on hiatus, or not very well-written. And also: Grovelling Sesshoumaru!

Like Alon said, it's right up my alley! Knowing that 10+ chapters are posted at FF.net and waiting for me, I went there immediately to read.

I love how you wrote Kagome. I thoroughly enjoy and re-read her POVs - my favourite parts of the story, to be honest. As for Sesshoumaru's reflections, I can definitely feel the remorse, though I can't exactly sympathize with him. I can't seem to figure out why he thinks he's not cheating on Kagome when in fact he already did it emotionally, and also when he went on a date with Kagura in the coffee shop.

I also love the role reversal. Kagome, though she's hurting, was very pragmatic about the whole thing while  Sesshoumaru is now the emotional and sentimental one.

Will there be any Kagura POVs? It'd be really interesting to read about their relationship in her point of view. I also wonder if she's aware that Sesshoumaru has a gf before she entered the picture, and if so, it's Kagome? I sense something shady about her, like every little thing she does is calculated.

You are a wonderful, talented writer. Your characterization is on point, and the way you weave your story is amazing. Keep it up! Looking forward to the next! :)

Great but what a shame, Sesshoumaru unconsciously and consciously cheated on Kagome.  He now believes she is not his soulmate but maybe Kagura is, hmm, I think Kagome needs to go on an outing with a handsome male.
