InuPapa is no simpleton. He knows his son did something troublesome.

I'm guessing that SK have the love bond, but Sesshomaru didn't recognize it because a) he has very little experience and b) his prejudice against humanity would have him conclude that *any* intense emotion he feels for a human female must be negative - especially since he "hated" her on sight. It'll be interesting to see if this conjecture is correct as the story goes along :)

Really good chapter. Lots of details and background. I don't know if you have a beta or not but you might want to have one proof read for you. I did notice a few misused words and grammar errors. Other than that, you have a great story line going.
