dancingfingers (Chapter 2) - Sun 16 Nov 2014

So, first things first, I don't know a thing about The Cat in The Hat, so I have no clear image of the story this based on. From what I read on SSA's reviews then I just assume that it will relate to um, bedtime story? *shrugs*

Anyway, few days ago I was helping my brother on his English's homework, making a story which it has to have a rhyme. I had never been learned about rhyming, I only read it whenever someone comes up with it and amuse myself. It's awfully hard, and I admired you to make this so good, the flow of the story is so enjoyable, and I don't need to decipher some vague message we usually see on riddles and poetry, but this one just struck me.

It begins with something light, but as I was reading, I knew that this was going to end unhappily. And when the last line came, I shuddered. That was shocking, and kind of... well, you tried to soften the tragedy (in which I have to check the genre but I only found 'Action' and 'Humor' enlisted) with 'snack'. I immediately insert any gruesome imagery I could think of to my mind. *shivers*

Oow... I never am good with riddles, poetry, and the likes. That's why I admire people who can write them good. :)

Sesshomaru's Secret Admirer (Chapter 2) - Fri 14 Nov 2014

Ah~ a twist to my favourite childhood story. The cat in the hat...turns into a...much violent plot. At first, I didn't know what to think of it. So, guess what? I read it again. I saw the words you used, and I believe it takes intelligence to come up with this. The struggle to rhyme with words and play with them in order to create a story....that takes a lot of thought and effort.

I would say you have successfully achieved a parody of The Cat in the hat in the most amusing way. Your efforts in creating these short rhymes are well portrayed. And, I kind of got this creepy chill while reading the cat with a bat, to be honest. It turned my views on the cat in the hate the other direction and could almost imagine a whole new character side of the cat. *shivers*

Well done, and well written.
