I just loved these last few chapters. since they never courted before marrying, now they are getting to know each other. Very clever way of watching to see if she would leak the info to the enemy. Thanks for updating. 

Very sad chapter but this was the way of many conquering armies. The Romans did the same to enemies and those disgraced in the eyes of the empire. Sad indeed. While I am a military retiree and grew up in a military family through many wars, I find such violence senseless. Very nice chapter thank you for posting. I pray you are able to heal your heart over this tragedy at UNC.
