so completely interested!!! So many questions left to answer. Do they mate, how will you portray the mating if it so happens- like will it extend her life, change her(physically and mentally/spiritually), how will kikyo get past her preconcieved notions, will she get past them, will they cross paths and be a family again. So many more questions! So yes please, sequal!

SEQUEL! SEQUEL! SEQUEL!! This was so good! You kept the characters on point the while time, completely believable! I hope you continue. After all where does an Inugami live? What about the god she was actually praying to? So many options!

I have been following this story from the first chapter and i have to say it was an amazing ride! the character developemnt was amazing. watching Kagome go from a naive girl who sees the world through rose-colored glasses to a woman seeing the world for what it is and standing up for her convictions was great. with Sesshomaru, his growth  was really good. Going from a demon who merely wants to consume and taint Kagome's purity to becoming a man in love but with insecurities, Sesshomaru's growth was gradual but relatable.

I would love to have a sequel where Kagome and Kikyo has reconcile their vastly different views of opinion and to see how far Sesshomaru is willing to go to keep Kagome happen but maintain his demon-side. Thanks for an awesome story!

Ooooooo ! Inuyasha & Kikyo Aren't Being Opened Towards Hearing Kagome's Reasoning When It Comes To Sesshomaru , I Can See Why Inuyasha Wouldn't But Kikyo Has Never Met Him & Is Just Going On w/ Inuyasha's View Of Sesshomaru Instead Of Trying To Have Her Own View :/

The first time I read this, there were only a few chapters out before I paused my fanfiction obsession period because I was busy. The last thing I read was when Kagome left Sesshomaru to nurse Onigumo. I've started reading fanfiction again and I just have to say, great job on updating so many chapters!

Thanks for your hard work on this awesome story. I know that sometimes some people only urge you to update, update, and update, but I guess that shows how much they love this fanfic. ^^

Anyway, I just wanted to pause and show my gratitude. I don't normally leave reviews since I almost always forget to, but I just remembered reading your author's note on one of the last chapters and really wanted to let you know that your efforts are appreciated by many :D

Oh my, I can't believe Kikyou would think Kagome wouldn't see purifying Sesshoumaru as a betrayal. Sesshoumaru was thinking of a way to separate the sisters because of Kikyou's distrust because he is full youkai and now, well, I don't think that will be a problem for him anymore. Kikyou went far beyond protecting Kagome on this one. Kagome told her she and Sesshoumaru loved one another and have been through a lot trying to find her while during that time she had gotten to know Sesshoumaru, not just the Inugami, but the person and she has learned to accept him or at least see him for who and what he is.

Where was Kikyou when the human bandits were killing, raping, and destroying their village? It isn't like she didn't know this was happening from village to village and was heading in the direction of their village. She left those she professed to love to supposedly help birth a child from the village not far from home, but that village was destroyed and she knew it. Why didn't she go home to keep her family safe? Sesshoumaru may not have interfered with the bandits destroying the village but he did come in when he knew Kagome was there to save her from certain rape and death. That would have been the second time he rescued her, contract or not, Kikyou dropped the ball and left her family to die so she could spend time with her hanyou.

I'm not overly worried about Sesshoumaru. He may get severely burned from a well trained miko, if she is powerful enough, but he has not been felled by any miko yet and certainly not by the likes of Kikyou.

Great job with this fic, by the way. I'm so intrigued with the plot and I'm enjoying the subtle changes in Sesshoumaru and his realization with these changes, his doubts and fears. Sessh is learning he's not as immune to love, trust and devotion as he thought.
