I did want to add that "if you see the Buddha in the road, kill him" means that one should not seek enlightenment, or Buddhahood, outside of themselves. We all have the Buddha nature within ourselves inherently, we do not need idols or icons to reach it. :)

~Pops back to normal mode~ Umm so to speak plainly, I believe I'm in love with this fic and this is my new fav! I have quite a feeling that this one here, is going to have layers of details and characters in it. Not to mention that the plot base is quite fetching and Sesshoumaru's personality is surprisingly same while still different (dunno if it makes sense to you!) And I loved seeing Kagome getting some backbone and intellect (her common sense, even if it was in hindsight when she thought back on why Sess killed all those ppl). Uh so getting back to the point, I would love to see what happens next (a cookie for the lovely author if its fast ~sly grin~)

Quite an interesting topic. I wonder how Kagome will keep this little contract secret from everybody and can she return without really asking for protection for her village. I'm interested in seeing if the contract terminates when it is fufilled means, he will only leave once she is corrupted. I can't wait to see what happens next :)
