I think it was shitty of the goddess to do this to Kagome while she was pregnant.  She could have at least waited until the child was born to be left with Inuyasha.  I wanted to scratch her eyes out as I read she was smiling.  Also, why is Kagome so calm throughout this chapter.  If it were me, I'd be more than hysterical, I'd be out for blood for what they had done to me.  Not only was I murdered, so was my child.  This chapter just upset me and left me angry (not at you the writer) at the characters.

Oh dear! You just took this chapter to another level. I absolutely love the potrayal and the lots-of-things-happening-here theme. You have absolutely delivered on the suspense without giving away the full surprise or taking away the anticipation after such a scene!!
