Aaaa She is going to burn alive!!!! Ya know has horrible as it sound the near death/ tragic death scenes I enjoy the most.... I have theorized that its because it is at this crucial moment that there are no lies, and the truth is left bear for the world to view and scretinize with an honest gaze.
Not saying there is much to hide between the two... and not saying there isn't, I just though I would let you know how much I enjoy reading such things. ^-^ ... does that make me a bad person?

Great chapter! Made me a little sad to see Siya go, though I knew it was coming. I love your play on words in this one, and that poem...beautiful! One thing: I think you may have meant, "Why was he NOT here to protect..." I think. I hope I do not offend, but I thought Hiroyuki was not present, and that's why Siya was looking for him. Anyways, love your work!
