Somewhat confused here.  Sesshomaru went from just finding out Kagome's mother was in the hospital, to firing the babysitter??  How did he find out who the babysitter was, and where she lived?? Before even speaking with Kagome's mother?? 

After all he went through, Maru didn't take the babysitter's head off.  Hmm, he must have really mellowed over the years

Lol, as always, must have more to read! Can't wait to see how Mamma Higurashi decides to react to this.

Like this, I think you overdid the brow arching here though, twice in the same sentence is a bit much; Arching a brow he shook his head before arching a brow, “Souta-chan?” he repeated lightly.

CUTE!!! I really love the way you've constructed the relationship between the two of them, in some ways it reminds me of the relationship between Inuyasha and Shippou :)
