 I guess what are you start seeing her in a different light. I like to see the interaction between them, his thought process about her and everything in between. These chapters only fuel my curiosity.  I can't wait for more!

This was a well-wriiten chapter and a nice break from the fluff/angst.

This is terribly dramatic and Shippou is super intrustive. 

I'm liking this story so far, but daddy Sessmuru better be careful sleeping with other peoples' kids! Doesn't he know that this is how MJ got caught up?!

Hmmm that means Sesshomaru has been gone for what....a year? At least the modern one. I understand he is hurting but what about enjoying the time he has with her as Shippo is doing? Surely it is hard for him too. And to cut her off so suddenly is very hurtful. He also pushed her away first. He knows she has to fall for Inu first before she can open her heart to him.

EEEE! The wake up from the denial!  I love how you managed to show the denial in such a simple turn of phrase. "she stopped looking for the guilt in his eyes" denial both of what Inuyasha was like/doing and how much she missed her Sesshomaru!  I'm not saying Kagome was in an abusive relationship. but from what I saw it was toxic. bad for both of them.  So I can't wait to see how you turn things around! :D
