I'm interested in the lore of your world. Seems like magic is going to be key. I like the characterization so far, the dialog was clean and didn't wander (THANK YOU!). The imagery in the first chapter really pulled my interest (but I like it when smells are incorperated in the imagining so that almost buys my interest every time). .

You've most certainly got my attention. I can't wait to see where you take this story.
