October 2010 and throughout 2011 was the year in hell.  I am hopeful I will be able to restore what I lost, learn from the experience, and hope to not have a repeat in the future.  I hope I will find myself and be happy, not who I lost  and be the monster I became during that time.  Those cold, clammy, lethal hands are still clinging, but I am hopeful with the new year that grip will forever be broken and I may start anew.  I have a lot to accomplish in 2012 - 

I love this story, especially since I began reading it on a whim when I caught up with all the other stories I had been reading.  I was eagerly wanting more updates, even though they coincide with the holidays, and the droughts in between will be long and tiring.  It is a nice refreshing change from most of the other stories I have read, though while good, they all have the same pattern.  I'm looking forward to the next update.

Okay....you drew me in.  

I love the simple chemistry between the two.  Right now they're friends, beginning to learn about each other.  Likes, dislikes, habits, everything.  Being roommates teaches you a lot about a person - been there, done that.

I love that they play together.  The water fights are hilarious and a great way to introduce a playfulness of the inu...humans can be playful, but it's good to see the dog come out of the dog demon.  I'd love to see her try to get him to fetch and the 'chasing tires' dig was fantastic.

Yes, I just read all 7 chapters this morning.

I love the slow progression of their relationship, since so far it's only been two months.  It takes time to really know a person.

Really good stuff and look forward to seeing things progress.  So New Years Day is next...then what...Valentine's Day?  When is White Day?  

Can't wait for tomorrow!  And a Happy New Year to you.

My resolution for the New Year?  Have a better attitude about things.  Other than that, I'm pretty content in life.

Superlatives are starting to escape me as I keep reading your work.  Even with living together, Kags & Sessh are tip-toeing around each other emotionally, yet still showing each other those glimpses of affection and caring.  It's subtle, though, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the development.  Such an intriguing story, a unique take on their meeting & forming a 'pack' in the modern era, and it promises to continue to delight your readers, I've no doubt about that.

To address the A/N in the last chapter... I can't imagine what might have prompted that.   Sess/Rin has been used so many times as a prelude to a Sess/Kag relationship that it certainly comes as no surprise.  Of course Rin grew up, and it's believeable (even if somewhat squicky to some) that they could have had a mature relationship somewhere along the line.  At least, that's my opinion, formed after MANY years of reading in this fandom.  I can only think that some people are not quite as aware of this as others.  It is YOUR story, however, so I would strongly suggest that you write what comes to you - if his relationship with Rin is an important part of the story, then it should be included - no matter that it might seem offensive to some.

Okay, /rant.  Sorry, but when I see talented, gifted writers practically apologizing for the story they're writing, it bugs me.  You keep on doing what works (SO WELL) for you, and I'll still be here reading, 'k?  Again, hope your day was peaceful today, and that Christmas is beautiful, warm, fuzzy, snuggly and all those good things!!

What can I say... I loved this. When I got to the last chapter you uploaded and was about to click on the arrow to take me to the next chapter I literally screamed no XD Please do continue this. Though I´m thoroughly creeped out by the Rin/Sessh your writing is superb and I loved the idea of their meeting. Sorry, but I´ll never understand how someone is not disgusted that the male who had such a big role in raising the little girl developes romantic feelings for her when she grows up. It´s the same with Kag/Shippo pairings, creepy. Actually it´s sad that so many authors do choose to take the romantic path when it comes to the complex relationship between Sesshoumaru and Rin. I see them as guardian/ward, even family/pack is not too far-fetched.

He did care for the girl a great deal but never let it go too far as he left her in the human village so she could learn what every human girl should know. On the other hand she was probably the first human to whom he was kind, so the first person who motivated him to change but not the only one. He showed kindness toward Kohaku and then to Kagura when she died which showed that he changed so much that he was worthy to receive Bakusaiga. And of course Kagome, whom he saved at least two times even when he had no obligation to do so. Sesshoumaru might have needed the push in the right direction but as soon as the positive changes were obvious, he didn´t need someone else to stay on that path. The same with Inuyasha. In the beginning he didn´t want to help other people and Kagome had to force him to do so but after a time he went out of his way and saved people just because he was strong enough to do so and did it because he is a kind individual and a real softy even if he hides it behind his scowls. He just doesn´t want to be hurt again.

Well, I´ll ignore that romantic part totally and will still read this fic as you are a great writer and I usually enjoy your fics immensely even if I disagree with some of your choices.

Okay, I know I've left reviews on almost everything you've written... and I SWEAR I'm not trying to be like a stalker or anything... and I promise this is the last one for today, 'k?  I just HAD to say, one more time, that I love your writing!! The Rin/Sesshoumaru bit made me cringe, probably because the age difference and the seeming manner of their relationship makes it hard for me to wrap my mind around it. However, the rest of the wonderful story had me smiling to myself without notice. I truly like Sesshoumaru in this tale, while there is some changing, he doesn't really feel completely out of character, but I feel that has to do with your writing itself.  There are many tales, that while I enjoy them, Sesshoumaru's demeanor is completely distinguishable from his originally written self.

Your story is a well written tale, and while I wish that it wasn't jumping, (complete skip over the Shippou/Kagome reunion to the Inufam/Kagome reunion/introduction), I enjoy it as it is, and will continue to read and wait for it to inform me of updates.

Actually I think the Japanese do have Thanksgiving, although I don't think it has quite the same meaning as in the US, they go & get buckets of KFC chicken to have for Thanksgiving dinner. Maybe google it & see if you're interested.

Really enjoying this so far. Slight correction in this section; “Let's see what's next,” Kagome whispered. “If one of Sango and Miroku's ancestor's shows up, I get to faint in a dead shock though, you've been warned,”. Sango & Miroku would be the ancestors, the word you wanted was decendant. Like you are your grandparents decendant & they are your ancestors.

Your story is one of my favorite fics this autumn.

I absolutely loved the idea of Kagome dressed like Sesshoumaru. And their reunion was so warm and touching, I sighed from happiness every paragraph.

In second chapter I really was torn between feeling cute and disobedience, when Sesshy constantly reminded Kagome who is Alpha. For two weeks straight it was my favorite phrase. Many authors use ‘Alpha’ in fics, but you made it sound so caring, while authoritatively. I loved it.

In third chapter I loved interaction between Kagome and Sesshoumaru. Especially this part: "I think the arrogance thing was from your dad," She chipped in. "You're both so full of-" "Careful," He warned with a smirk.

She was so bold with him (it's so like her), and he’s playfully warning her. I loved it, and the thought that arrogance came from the Inu-Papa amused me greatly. Many fans is sure that Inu-Papa was such nice guy, but seeing not very nice personality traits that Inuyasha and Sesshy both are sharing makes me wonder. Thanks for the food for thought.
