Love this story more with every day you write about!! I've had god awful days like Kagome's myself but I've never had anyone like Sesshoumaru to come home too later!!! LOL I love that bit in the elevator!! "I'd rather have my organs cut out from me with a dull knife" Now that had me smiling I've been in that situation too!!! As always well done and I can't wait for more!
How have I missed this gem? Probably b/c I'm usually mega busy on holidays and that's when you update, hmph!! But this is so good, I love the comraderie and the playfulness between them and yet they are both strangely mature. I enjoyed it and I can't wait til the next holiday (does MLk Day count and can we include Canadian/French holidays too??? XD)
oh and a second review.... is it just me or do we think Sesshy wrote the poems after Rin?

This chapter ranks in like my top 3 for convivial , though honestly I think it has a lot to do with the image of sesh reading aloud poetry ( gives me shivers :) ) good job and hi5 to miko for providing you with more inspirational holidays ;) don't forget national hug day though!!!

Oh shucks! I forgot that Friday the 13th is coming up. Thanks for updating, about the idea, because you reminded me. Thank goodness that over here, where I live, isn't Friday yet. Yay! In a couple of hours(less than four hours), it'll officially be Friday the 13th. I'm going to make sure I relax at home and drink a nice cup of hot chocolate. I haven't had much chance to sit and read fic for a while, but I'm glad to have been able to catch up with this fic. This is one of your best. You've kept Sesshoumaru in character while allowing him growth, which is always nice to see when done well. Kagome, to me, has always been a character I'd want to see grow into the thoughtful and resiliant character she is in your story. I really like the way you've written her. The dialog and pacing, as always, are both awesome. The light moments serve the more somber tones in this story, and you've done a really great job with it.
As for your notes, I was so sorry to hear your dog had parvo but am very glad he is okay. We all see what we will when it comes to stories, and if you can envision Rin and Sesshoumaru in a past relationship, then that's what you see for this piece. No one should hassle you over it because they don't agree. That having been said, I think you're handling the references to that relationship with great care and subtlety, awesome!

Hmm Excellent as always!!! So Sesshoumaru stolr her first kiss! I wonder how he'll react to that!? LOL if he wants her to enjoy life more he's going to have to help her do it! I think he really does like her and wants her to rediscover her romantic side!! As for New Years resolutionsI really need to make a concerted effort to loose a few pounds and just like Kagome study harder. I have a graduate History course I have to take as part of my re-licensure for my teaching job! It's going to be a very busy new year!!!

| Since I'm incapable of leaving the house without my trusty wheelchair at the moment, I'm celebrating by reading smutty fan fiction. Alas, this fic is not yet smutty. Methinks you should take pity on me (I *am* a knitter, after all!) and make it very smutty, indeed. ;)
My New Years resolution is to walk. I had major hip surgery 7 weeks ago and should be capable of bearing 50%+ weight on my leg by now. But the kami decided to hate me and the rare, excruciatingly painful chronic pain disorder I developed following surgery #2 (this last one was #5) spread from being confined to my hip to being in my entire right leg. So mow I end up screaming n pain every time I try to bear any weight on my leg. The doctors are guessing I wont walk again until the 6 month mark and I might up needing a wheelchair off and on the rest of my life. So not a very exciting New Years resolution, but one I'm very eager to see happen.
Your resolution to complete two projects a month makes me think your nuts, btw, lol. I think you should substitute it with a resolution to learn to spin, since you've now met a "non-sheep" spinner. :D
