ahhhh! what a positively, dreadfully wonderful cliffhanger! ohh if I wasn't a sucker for a perfectly-placed cliffie I'd hate you so much right now (but love you at the same time of course)!! *squeal* Obviously, I read it all the way through, just eating it up. I've just gotten my wisdom teeth removed, so I'm bed-ridden with little else to do. Besides, I can never stop in the middle of your chapters anyway. Love the hiyokai Hisa, she's just the annoyance those two need to put some fire under their butts (see the joke I made? ohohoho) and I'm so glad we see Kagome's temper rear its head, its about time Sesshomaru dealt with a real dose of her ire!  Patiently yet impatiently awaiting the next chapter! good luck with school! I  don't start college until September, but all my friends had their first classes today as well.

Yes, I did read it in one go only, but I re read it a pair of times more during the rest of the day just in case I missed something buring my first "inhalation" of the chapter.

It really got me hooked!

What to say about this LONG session?
- I absolutely adore Hisa, somebody so powerful and so above all to make Sesshomaru look like a pup, but at the same time so warm and open to Kagome;
- Meiling, you're doomed! After the "Again! Again! Again!" of the IV chapter it was really satisfying 'seeing' her stutter at Kagome's claim. But does this mean the Sesshomaru is free from the coupling session with her? Good. ^^
- I like how they're both hovering towards falling, but for some reason or another they deny all. Sesshomaru and his unnecessary kisses and Kagome and her XX century woman logic: hilarious!
- I feel there's much more of Sesshomaru's mother than it appears. I'll be waiting.

So far as updating, do what you can. You will be waited :)

Loved the part where she found out about the females fighting to be the mate and she was talking about skinning him and running around in her head. Laughed so hard I woke my room mates.

Both are natural in a healthy relationship, and each list deserves thorough appreciation and regards; just make sure that the first list balances with or outweighs the second…

I have a feeling the problem will be with her respectable qualities outweighing the annoying ones, not vice versa.

I am loving the way Hisa twists and uses fire-related terms. Very clever. Also, I'm loving her character. You can sense her natural grace and she seems fluid, not like water, but waving and moving like fire. I hope to see more of her. She not overly cryptic and she's too ancient to take nonsense. "While your glare is utterly adorable..." I giggled lol.

Okay... the connection between Kagome's marking and his was beautiful. Kagome's marking were a sign of life and a life lived by her choices. Sesshoumaru had none of this, only marked by the constant reminder of his station. Love it. Sesshoumaru couldn't keep a scar, any sign of his life, on his body. No wonder he's so interested in Kagome's.

The mist/nightmare stories that haunted Sess from his older sisters was hilarious, and seemed so real. Brings just another little level of this story out, especially when he imagined little hanyou ears twitching as he told the stories to his own pups. Very endearing.

I love how Sesshoumaru groomed her as she slept. When his claws caught the tiny tangles in her hair (great description btw) it was like tiny bits of his control and cold exterior were breaking easily just by touching her.

God, hangovers suck...

HA! Sesshoumaru felt the fear of the kami in his soul with her anger!

I got caught up in his analysis of their interactions. It built the inevitable explosion between them well. Bringing a passion's fire into the chamber and a spark of love into his heart, maybe? GO Hisa, way to call it. You can tell he's losing some big part of who he built himself up to be in order to gain something dormat naturally within him. What a struggle. It's very intensely done and drove me adrenaline up. Plus... HOT! (no pun intended)

Oh, and then she goes and CRUSHES IT ALL!!! You evil woman, you! lol God, I feel SO bad for him right there. He finally finds something tangible and truly *his* growing (again, NO pun intended), and its not being returned because of his upbringing. BUT, though she's not consciously returning the same feelings, she is noticing a change. *shakes head* Damnit, I love this story.

“You are totally not funny.”

“I do not need to be.  The rest of the world is hysterically pathetic enough without my tampering with it.” I need to find a time in my life where I can say this line lol.

The whole marking scene was tragic, especially since they haven't seen each other since the tickling. I haven't gotten to the end of it yet, but I feel like its putting more between them, even if its bonding them intimately. (this is good, I like how it seems his entire upbringing is ridiculous to her, however it is part of him... the same struggle he's having with himself) Poor Kagome, I bet if she wasn't conflicted enough, than this tradition is messing with her head.

OH GOD!! NOW SESSHOUMARU IS CRUSHING HER!! @#$%^&*()*&^%$#@#$%^&.... Cold bastard... where's HIsa!?

Wow, the whole scene with Kagome teasing him in front of the weakest admirers... HOT! *jaw drop* HOT! And the kiss!!! These are getting SO intense!

Oh wow... Scary Sesshoumaru... (rut with Meiling after Kagome teased him)

"He just stared at her, as though seeing her for the first time.  Well, he was certainly seeing this side of her for the first time, the side that tamed rampaging mutts and quelled kitsuney?kai pranks before they even had a chance to form." I died! lol

Oh my you Can't End IT LIKE THAT!! lol I did make it through one sitting, and I really enjoyed it. Thanks and looking forward to updates! Instead of sending like three emails I thought I'd get most of my thoughts out in a review this time! Good luck with school.

Oh my god! That was actually my favorite chapter so far! But...I NEED MOAR WOMAN! **cries** Why the cliff hanger?! Please I need need need more! I absolutely love this story, and love the development. I LOVE Hisa (seriously, I might even have a little fictional girl-crush on her) and I am DYING to see what happens next!
