I really liked this chapter. The image that you create is just very pleasant. Sesshoumaru would of course enjoy the extra (but probably deserved in his opinion) attention but then snuffs his mother when she points it out. He still sticks to his I don't really care what others think about me since I know my worth, but then I do actually care what others think about me. It is true though that his worth hasn't changed and he just wanted everyone to take notice of it. I wonder how you will continue to combine this need to be recognized in Sesshoumaru while his sevret weapon is off making a new friend. I can't wait until next time when maybe Sesshoumaru notices Kagome's flower :)

Sesshoumaru's attitude is so amusing.  He doesn't care at all if the girls like him or not, but at the same time he does want them to like him because he feels that he deserves it and is worth their attention.  Such a interesting and oddly pure way of thinking.

So, he still hasn't noticed Kagome and her new friend.  Or her flowers.  I can't wait to see his reaction.

That was very nice of him...so clearly Sesshoumaru will not approve. I wonder if she will keep the flower and if Sesshoumaru will get any flowers. It does not seem like he will give any away. I wonder how he will get the support and desire of the females present. I eagerly await the next scheme to get the ladies once again hot and bothered by Sesshoumaru. Until next time :)
