This makes me feel all warm on the inside.

i have to say that i'm really quite confused by this chapter (and the previous one). what is the significance of Kagome going over to speak? why is it a "gift"? a hundred words is not a lot of space to expand, i know, but i hope there will be a bit more straightforwardness for obtuse readers like me @_@

also i'm wondering: why wasn't it terribly out of place for her, her master's servant, to offer congratulations?

He's still going to make her pay though right?

LOL Here I thought Fumiko had completely dropped out of this fic. A complete throw away character and here she turns up again and Kagome commenting that she's still alive makes the whole thing hysterical. Totally makes her disappearance look intentional. Which perhaps it is?

        If you update, it might distract Sessy long engough for me to steal her head back. 8)  Sigh... poor, decapitated, immaginary me. But don't worry too much! She doesn't really need her head since she isn't real. She just really likes it.
