Very excited to see a canon story from you. While I love your original stuff, I do love a good canon fic. Off to an interesting start, and I can't wait to see how Kagome gets herself in trouble and - I can only assume - Sesshomaru gets landed with an overly talkative teen.

I really like the way that you set this up. The parallel and the foreshadowing. I can't wait to see what he needs her for and why he thinks that she will be able to help him out. I do like that he is trying to justify it (by saying that Inuyasha took his arm and this is only fair...meaning that he is taking her but I wonder if he plans on giving her back). I can't wait to see what happens next :)
