Hmmm... I think I know what Sesshoumaru is thinking. He was going to take Miroku first right? And he ended up taking Kagome first - and now makes sure to mix scents with her. Both Kagome and Miroku are holy beings. Sesshoumaru being a demon, would be boasting that he has a holy being in his service - taming the danger so to speak. Now he goes even further by implying that he has a miko in service as an underling and as a bed mate.
