I was enjoying the new chapter so much, but then I started thinking about how Sesshomaru had let Kagome down and betrayed her at the beginning of the story. If I were Kagome, the situation would create so much psychic dissonance my head would explode. I really, really want Sesshomaru and Kagome to be together, but that kind of betrayal is impossible to forget. I'm really glad, then, that you wrote about Kagome feeling some reservations about the situation...
I am SO happy this story is back. It has been one of my favorites for a long time, yet still feels fresh though I've read it over and over! It's such a treat to find an old favorite has been updated!
This is awesome. I should have tuned into this sooner. I hope Kikyou gets what's coming to her, and not in a good way. That unborn baby she's carrying is going to turn out completely messed up, if it survives to term. WHat the hell is she thinking, getting high while pregnant? I love it. I want to see the reaction on Inuyasha's face when he finds out she's pregnant with NARAKU'S pup, and not Sesshomaru's. Can't wait for the next chapter.

(Chapter 5) - Tue 10 Jun 2008
I'm on chapter 5 and I think this is one of the best sess/kags break-up/make-up stories I have ever read. Oh my goodness, it is so different from most of the other stories where they have her inability to control herself override her good sense. And it also takes into account the rebuilding of trust that is necessary to regain a lost love, it is refreshing to see that they weren't just thrown together because Sesshoumaru regrets his decision, insists (sometimes forces) on having Kagome back in his life and finally confesses his love. [I'm not criticizing the other stories, they are very good in their own right, I just wanted to highlight the different perspective and path you chose to bring them together. If they are getting back together, I'm only on chapter 5]
Jessica (Chapter 8) - Tue 10 Jun 2008
Its weird because this is a Sess/Kag and I find myself sympathizing with Koga. I went through something similar, but it was with one of my best friends. She went through something strangely similar to that of Kagome and reconnected with her ex. I was upset and I gave her a hard time about it and I'm sad to say we weren't as close afterwards. The thing she didn't understand was that when she went through the initial heartache so did I, I cried because she was in pain and I hurt because she hurt. When it was all said an done, it was mainly me and a few other close friends who got her through it, helped pick up the pieces and got her back to the person she was. My reaction to them reconnecting was an effort to protect her because I never wanted to see her broken like that again and because he was the guy that did it I wanted to keep her far away from him. They got back together but they didn't stay together too much longer and its really sad that it cost us our friendship. I know you're like where is she going with this. Well I said that to say this that yes Kagome is being selfless in her pursuit to rebuild Sesshoumaru and she needed support for her changes but in a sense it is also selfish of her to expect Koga, friend or no, to support her decision when. When one's friend is devastated that friend is devastated as well. They are hurt too, of course they don't get the brunt of it but they are hurt and its hard for them to trust and accept the someone who is responsible for the offense against their friend. So she could have been a little more understanding when it came to Koga. I just thought it ironic that she was more sympathetic and understanding when it came to the man that wronged her than she was to the man that help pick up the pieces and helped put her back together. Okay I'm done and I'm still loving the story.
Nobody (Chapter 12) - Tue 10 Jun 2008
Its it the best portrayl of au i've seen. Sesshomaru needs Kagome to be strong . Its great, good job. Despite the role reversal you still manage to portray them well.
